A definite “must do” when in Kauai! Absolutely the best thing we did! Kauai has so many beautiful places that can’t be reached by car or boat, this helicopter tour took us to breathtaking places we’d never had been able to see—-and I mean breathtaking ! The staff at Blue Hawaiian were professional and friendly. Pilot Derrick was amazing! He first put us at ease by giving us his credentials—extremely capable pilot. Great storyteller of the land, it’s history, etc. He is so passionate about the landmarks and the heart and soul of Kauai. Great use of music as you round each turn. Just when you think the place you are looking at is so beautiful, you turn the corner, and there is another one even more beautiful! Pictures cannot do justice to these amazing places to see. You just gotta take the tour!!! You have to FEEL it! Never one time was I scared about the flight. We had great weather and our tour was at 10:10. We took some pictures but wanted to purchase the video of our tour with all the commentary, and it had several cameras capturing the footage of everything we saw. Would recommend purchasing video in advance. Saves a little money. Will recommend Blue Hawaiian to all our friends coming here and huge shoutout to pilot Derrick! Keep doing what you are doing!

It’s amazing trip,

You cannot go wrong with this helicopter tour of Volcano National Park. Our pilot was Wesley and he made it both fun, exciting, and informative. The helicopters are beautifully clean and maintained. The tour itself give you a view of the National Park that cannot be achieved from the ground. You will not be disappointed.

We did this helicopter tour in early March 2018, a week before the Kīlauea Volcano erupted. So lucky we got to experience this when we did. Jason our pilot was incredibly informative and experienced. He took us over beautiful waterfalls and craters and we even flew over the cruise ship we arrived in Hilo on!! Being able to witness this volcanic phenomenon from way up high was absolutely breathtaking!! 100% recommend! 👍👍👍

We were so impressed! My husband went on the Kohala tour and had the best time! I waited on the Lanai and was very comfortable hanging out during the tour. Very amazing experience!

Lovely flight, felt safe too, pilot friendly, knowledgable about the island, lovely video. It was a great ending to our holiday in Hawaii. Plus we could recognise all the places we hiked and visited throughout our week here.
