Fantastic tour over the Big Island. You get to see all the island's diversity. Pilot was informative and made the tour fun.

Ray was our pilot. He was very informative about the volcano, eruptions and the history of the area. We were able to see some active lava. What a great way to see everything! thanks!
First Helicopter ride ever. It was a great experience. Very Beautiful. Dave was a great pilot with 26 yrs or experience. Wayne was the tour limo driver that was great as well. A native Hawaian that was very informative and very helpful to my wife and myself. An overall wonderful experience with breath-taking views. Thanks, Jeff

Absolutely, the most incredible experience I've ever had. The volcano views and lava flows were fantastic. Ray was a great pilot and guide; extremely knowlegable, funny, and helpful. Would definitely recommend him and Blue Hawaiian to anyone! I want to go again (How about right now?)!
This was the best...and most exciting tour yet..and we really enjoyed our pilot Ray..he was informative and funny and made us all feel comfortable..and I was a little nervous at first...
I enjoyed the helicoper ride but I was sitting in the middle and was not able to take good pictures. Also on video you cannot really see my face and I am upset about that. The camera should be turned to ensure all participant faces are visiible becuase I wanted my family to see me on the helicoper ride. Thanks, Stevie was a wonderful tour guide and pilot.

It was GREAT!!
The flight was very good. The waterfalls section was not a big part of it - you kind of got the 1000 ft view of them. The crater/vent flyby was very good though. There were a number of lava fountains coming up of of the surface. A visible pool of red lava was not evident - it had a cool gray crust on it - but the lava was visible through cracks. The air tour of the additional vents, cracks and lava flow damage was good and extensive. The pilot, Ray, was very good, and very funny as well. The only disadvantage was that one of the passengers came wearing a neon color, which reflects back off of the windows and makes viewing and taking pictures trouble. All seats do get a view, as the pilot circled items of interest far more than he approached them head on. The best seat is the front right, and I recommend wearing dark colors as the tour asks. Your pictures will be better and your tour mates will be happier.
