Our pilot was awesome and was able to position the craft to allow all to see the lava flows and special items he pointed out to us.
It was a great trip to see the most recent lava flow here on The Big Island...well worth the time and effort. Blue Hawaiian was a wonderful company with whom to work. They were helpful, informative and fun!
We were celebrating out 25th anniversary and Blue Hawaii helic optor's Nate (pilot) gave us an unforgettable experience. 25 years ago, we were marriend in the Fern Grotto and it was special to see the area from overhead. The music was always appropriate like after the rainbows we saw to see more beauty and hear Brdda Iz's "Its a wonderful life". Nate was a safe pilot, personable and shared the island and the hawaiian history beautifully. We will tell our friends and family to come to Blue Hawaiian Helicoptors. We really enjoyed the tour. It was awesome experience since we could see part of the island which we would have never seen before. chopper was quiet, and comfortable. Will recommend this to any one visiting Hawaii.
From a Midwest point of view where the land is so flat, we possibly had a chance to view a piece of heaven. Our pilot was gracious and informative.

Ethan took our family on a great tour of the coastline and vent. He was very informative and able to answer our questions about the rea. The clouds parted at the right moment and we were able to fly over and see the lava. Excellent adventure - a must do for those travelling to the Big Island!

Everything went splendidly. Eric, our pilot, quickly molded an atmosphere of solidarity, which ensured a positive experience. The Checking-in process was streamlined, even the corny intro video wasn't annoying (which, honestly, is a problem at many such institutions).
