It was an amazing trip. We saw lava oozed out, splashed around. We got a glimpse of coastal scene and it was awsome. Water falls are also breath taking sights to see. Thank you.

We had initially booked with Safari helicopter tour. Everything was confirmed, we were at Hilo about 45 mins in advance wgen we got a call from them saying that they are canceling the tour due to rain. And the earliest we could reschedule would be couple of days later when we will be gone. Just to check we called Blue Hawaiian --and luckly they could accommodate us, in 2 helicopters, starting at the same time around the same time. Apparently the weather was not an issue for them. And we had a fine tour--there was some rain but not much at all to affect the tour and the visibility of the volcano and the waterfalls. I am now curious about why exactly did Safari tour cancel our booking.
Definitely amazing. 2 comments that I think would be helpful to the more "green" passengers like myself: 1) a more in depth briefing of turbulence and what to expect and what are "normal/safe" noises and bumps. It was difficult to discern what was normal as we have never done this. 2) The video would be more enticing if it had longer shots of passengers. Ours was about 3 seconds every once in a while. Not as interesting as wider shots or more shots of us. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Rick

The flight was AWESOME!!! AMAZING!! It was a little bit rainy and cloudy up in the volcano, but the music that ROGER (our pilot) chose was so good that it made the flight even more epic!! WE FELT LIKE IN A MOVIE!! And we actually saw LAVA. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! Thanks ROGER, you are a great pilot!! GREETINGS FROM COLOMBIA!! Santiago, Mario, Ana y Luis... ALOHA!!

We enjoyed every moment and were lucky to see almost everything as our pilot, Roger, manuevered us around the rain expertly.
