An excellent opportunity to view the island from a very different perspective, that not many roads or modes of transport allow you to see.. You only live once! I thought I should do the heli-ride then later in my stay do a sky-dive over Oahu.. The ride is so smooth, you dont even realise you have left the ground, yet when the pilot starts spirals and pirouettes you just can't help but smile and enjoy the skills and the views that are allowed. The waterfalls are not really worth it, unless there are decent rainfalls days before you depart & you certainly do not get as close at what you think you would. DO NOT MISS IT! Go Blue Hawaiian!! A native of Kauai, Barrett was a terrific pilot. The tour was amazing. The clouds and pending rain did not distract from seeing this beautiful island. Incredible experience! Our pilot Tim was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of the area. As first time helicopter riders our family would strongly recommend him and Blue Hawaiian. Mahalo.
