Jax was an amazing pilot and guide of the volcano. The best part was that he circled both sides so that everyone could see and get pictures. The Pu-u vent was really cool to see the lava flowing in multiple paths. No better way to see it than by air!
Jon our pilot was great! Funny and full of good jokes to entertain us. I especially enjoyed his cow jokes! Jon was friendly and very informative and helpful. He was open to show us more of what we wanted to within the trip. Great experience with Jon who was a former Pacific NWesterner! Thanks Jon! Ben

This was so awesome! It was so fun and Jax was SUPER nice! It was so interesting to see lava flowing and the wonderful waterfalls! We had such a great time on this trip and with our pilot!
This was a great once in a lifetime experience. Unfortuntely, when we arrived for our 10:00 flight, we were informed of maintenace issues and were told we could be rebooked on a 2:00pm flight. We used the extra time to drive into Volcano Naional Park. the helicopter ride gave us a way different perspective than any overlook could provide. Our pilot was great...polite, professional and informative.

Great views of Hilo and the active volcanoe showing Lava flows. Captain Mark was very considerate to show us around the spectacular sites and allow us to take great pictures. He was very knowledgeable too about the facts and history of Hilo and the volcanoes. Very enjoyable for the entire family.
Would have been five star if we would have flown a bit on the coast. Enjoyed our day !
