Tim was extremely knowledgable and personable. We felt cerain that we saw as much of the lava flow as was possible within the hour long tour. Tim was sure to pilot the plane so that everyone could get clear views. His vast knowledge of the volcanoes and the big island was communicated in a laid-back, informative, and often funny manner. Great pilot!

Blue Hawaiian was an excellent experiance! We ran into road troubles trying to get to hilo from Kona and were resigned to the fact that we may miss our slot and there would be the usual headache of trying to sort out a rescheduling or refunds but they were right on top of everything! they got us sorted out right away, had a helicopter to go within 5 minutes of us arriving. Extremely reasonable and such a refreshing experience working with them :) The pilots are knowledgeable in all sorts of areas and it was a great experiance interacting and learning so much about the island and volcano history
