This was my first ride in a helicopter, so I am unable to vouch for the comfort of the ride (it wasn't unpleasant by any means), but our pilot, Trevor, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of the island, easy to talk with, and funny. Very glad that he was our pilot.
This was probably the most exciting thing I have done on Kaua'i and nothing will be better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job Marty! :)
Our tour was epic! Pilot Brody flew us over the coolest parts of the island, giving a highly interesting commentary. The waterfalls and scenery were awesome, and I learned a ton. The helicopter ride was smooth, but Brody didn't take it to fast so we had time to enjoy. my favorite part was the crater.

Did the Circle of Fire plus Waterfalls tour departing from Hilo airport. Did the more extended Kilauea plus Kohala tour departing from the Waikoloan heliport a couple of years ago. Both were great (though the recording of the Waikoloan tour didn't work due to a technical glitch back then). The best way to get to the remote eruption area at Kilauea and see all the action.

Very enjoyable, definitely worth the view. Brody was knowledgeable, handled the change in weather well (no Na Pali coast)and showed us the crater instead.
Scott was our pilot and was excellent. He calmly narrated the tour and even spotted several whales off of the NaPali coast! It was a beautiful tour - our first time! I cannot imagine coming to Kauai and not taking this tour. Blue Hawaiian was incredible with safety and instruction. What a thrill!
It was so cool! You got to see lava, and waterfalls. I recommend this to people of all ages. I had a lot of fun!

Colleen was a WONDERFUL pilot. Very personable and fantastic air work. She held us perfectly above each lava flow and crater. We were lucky with the lava flow today, but have no doubt she would have done everything in her power to find some for us!
