Pilot Scott was great!
Today's flight was AMAZING!!! Our pilot Tim was a wealth of knowledge about the land below. We focused most of our time on the volcano and the erupting lava that is flowing into the sea. I would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to see the beauty of the Big Island. I also took a flight 3 days ago from the other location on this island as part of a large group. We had Greg O as our pilot and I was discouraged at his lack of communication. Especially his flat out rude answers to 2 simple questions that my 6 year old asked. I would recommend the tour of the waterfalls but would ask for another pilot. When we finished I had others on the tour say how sorry they felt for my daughter:-(
Rick was great -- he was very accommodating to everyone's needs and sensitive to where we were seated, so he made sure to angle the aircraft in different ways so we had great views. He was very knowledgeable in the history and the terrain of the Big Island, and he was patient when answering all questions. We enjoyed the information and fun facts he provided throughout the flight. He also ensured that we wouldn't be bothered by kids having access to microphones. Thanks, Rick! This was our first helicopter trip ever, and our first trip to Kauai. This tour was an amazing way to see the island in a way most people never get to see. Our pilot, Scott, was so informative. He answered all of our questions and gave us such an awesome tour!
