What a great way to welcome the month of December! This was an awesome helicopter ride provided by Scotty G., a calm and knowledgeable pilot. It was so cool to see the beautiful Na Pali coast from this angle, quite a contrast to a catamaran view and the NCL view. This ride truly provided a different perspective of Kauai-from the colorful gradations of the Waimea Canyon to the surf pounding the shoreline with rainbows at almost every turn. As we flew along the canyon walls, beautiful waterfall after waterfall began popping into sight till we turned out to Hanalei Bay. This ride provided by Blue Hawaii is a fabulous way to see the beauty of Kauai.

We just sat there with our mouths open the entire trip. It's the most amazing thing you will do on this island and that's saying something cause we loved everything about Kauai. I had never flown on a helicopter so I was a little nervous! No need to be worried, they had a safety video that you watched and took their safety precautions seriously. It was a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the island. There would be no other way to see the sights of this island. Never have I enjoyed seeing so many waterfalls! Totally loved the views and was just sad when the time came to an end!

The helicopter tour was right there on our list to do and we're sure glad we did it. The views were just great Brian our pilot was a very good tourist guide. And a great pilot also.

My wife and I were first time visitors to any of the islands when we arrived late on Nov 26 and left on Dec 3. We flew Dec 1 at 10:30 - I can not remember the pilot's name, but he was from Tennessee and had been with BHH for several years. He gave us and the other 2 couples (who we were not otherwise travelling with) a great tour with lots of interesting commentary. If you have never been to Kauai, or taken a flying tour if it, book a ride with BHH for a great experience!

My boyfriend surprised me with a helicopter tour on my 50th bday. The ride was smooth. Staff was super friendly. Pilot was great!! The views are spectacular. Na Pali Coast is breathtaking. We saw 100's of waterfalls. Our helicopter seated 6 & the pilot. There isn't a bad place to sit. The accommodated a handicapped man very well, and were nice to a honeymooner that got sick. We took Dramamine & were fine. We bought the video for $25. the video isn't great quality, but at least it shows a great memory & I could show my kids. I would totally do this again. Expensive for an hour ride, but worth it.

To say we didn't enjoy this experience would be remiss of me as we did. However, we were strongly encouraged by the Hilton to do this helicopter ride instead of the boat trip which interestingly they cannot organise for you! The film footage of what is shown to you and what you actually see couldn't be more different hence the let down, we saw lava specks and plenty of steam, I think for the cost you would be better to do something else like seeing it from the water

We did this as part of our 3 week Maui vaca, we did the West Maui tour and our Pilot Rick was very knowledgeable and gave pointed information on the sites. We saw amazing waterfalls not Visable by land, as well as rainbows, and sacred burial sites. The sites are breathtaking as is the seacliffs of Maui, but you just can't beat the view from above, we booked through the concierge at our hotel. Was disappointed that the other people on our flight didn't wear dark colored pants as specified because bright colors reflects on your pictures. So if you go, please consider this for your & others photos. A must do though, #indescribablebeauty

We came from the NCL Hawaiian Islands cruise. I pre-booked our flights online with the company, rather than through the cruise line. Most people know there's quite a markup with cruise excursions, but this one shocked us. It cost around $210 plus tax each online, whereas they charged $349 plus tax each through the cruise for the exact same trip. Save yourself some money and pre-book, with the best savings if you can book at least 5 days prior. I was a little anxious, but the friendliness and professionalism of the whole operation put me at ease. Our pilot, Shay, was wonderful. He had the most soothing voice throughout the tour, and reassured us with his range of experience. Trained for high-risk evacuation procedures, I realized our flight was a breeze for him. It was almost an hour, with amazing views throughout. I heard tons of wonderful comments from those around me, and I agree. It's worth finding room in your budget for this experience. It's truly worth it!

We drove and hiked around the island, but seeing Kauai from a different perspective is worth the time and money. Our pilot, Brodi, is a native and is really knowledgeable about the island. Blue Hawaiian did a good job with all the safety checks and is well organized.

This was our first time to Kaua'i and we wanted to see as much as possible in the short time we had. This tour gave incredible views of the entire island. Our pilot, Beth, was very knowledgable and provided great history and commentary of every site we flew over. I was seated on the far side of the helicopter as we flew along the coast, but she made sure to turn back to allow everyone on either side great views of the scenery. It was a great experience and well worth the money!

My family decided to try Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tours during our stay on Kauai. The facility is clean, with nice bathrooms, a small shop, and they give you a safety briefing before the ride. The tour was wonderful. Our pilot, Elizabeth, or Beth, was amazing. She was funny, informative, and a great pilot. We had great weather for the trip, and it was a smooth ride. She warned us a few times if we might hit a few bumpy patches, which was great. Could see very well out of the windows, and I am 5'1". Kids could see well too. We could talk to the pilot with our headsets if we had questions. Hanalei Bay was gorgeous, Napali coast was stunning, and when we got to the peaks the clouds touched the top and made it look like the waterfalls were coming from the clouds. Utterly amazing ride.

Well I did the time share and got the discount and then took the whole family on the volcano tour from Hilo. You active 45 min ahead and they go through a safety demonstration the. It's out to the chopper your seated by your weight my wife and youngest got the front by Coleen our young pilot. My oldest was in the back with me and another couple. You lift off and it's around the south point to the entrance of the lava into the ocean landmarks are explained as you fly. We were last flight for couple hours so we're able to circle the lava a few times both sides of chopper so all had a great view. Then up to see lava tube open and the lava moving below. From the air you see the devastation. Then back to a water fall and touchdown at airport. Great would do again.

We had planned to take Helicopter ride to observe Kilaeau Volcano from top.The day started with bad news that heavy clouds cover forced cancellation of flight.However,by afternoon,the sky cleared up & we were accomdated in another flight to volcano.It was one of the most memorable experience,thanks to good Helicopter & skillful Pilot -Capt Gregg,who manouvered the ride as to provide a clear view of erupting Volcanoe,Lave flowing on the slopes & than Lava discharging in to sea,causing huge clouds of Steam.The Pilot ensured that each passenger sitting in the cabin had clear view of scene on the ground.Good comdition pf Helicopter was added benefit.The ride also flew full 45 mins as promised.All in all,a lifetime memorable experience,thanks to Blue Hawaiin Helicopters & their staff with special appreciation to Capt Gregg.

This was an amazing helicopter company. We took a Big Island Adventure ride over to the volcano, the Hilo area, waterfalls, and the northern part of the island. Would recommend you make sure this is a part of your vacation!
