Amazing experience
Big Island - Hilo

We had a chance to see waterfalls, lava flows, craters, and the general beauty of Hawaii with the ease of flight instead of miles in the car or hiking in the heat. Blue Hawaiian was a great comply with an excellent safety record. Our pilot, Coleen, was gentle on the turns and the air was great. One recommendation if you sit behind the pilot is to remind them to turn to the left more often so you can have some of the great views.

Breathtaking tour
Big Island - Hilo

We took a Volcano and Waterfall tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters in Hilo with pilot Greg. He was friendly, easy to chat with and provided lots of information while flying over the volcano, waterfall and everything in-between. When we circled the steaming crater everyone fell silent... awestruck at the awesome magnitude of the active steaming lava inside. What a great once in a lifetime event. Amazing beauty of the steam rising and billowing out of the ocean as the lava flows into it through the tubes. Waterfalls were a special treat! Great flight!

Fantastic. Beyond our expectations
Kauai - Lihue

This was our first helicopter trip over Kauai and it was even better than expected. I considered Sunshine helicopters at first but decided on Blue Hawaiian in the end, after reading many reviews for various helicopter companies and realising that people did not have negative experiences with them. Blue Hawaiian helicopter company truly delivers what they advertise. Everything goes so smoothly from start to finish and everyone is efficient, friendly and knowledgable. They even provide black T-shirts if needed. I had front seat for the flight and the views were unbelievable. Mark, our pilot, was so good. He provided great narrative and was friendly and knowledgeable, with nice personality and superb flying skills. We didn't even get sick, although we did feel slightly queasy for short periods of time, so if you are prone to motion sickness consider medication. We received free t-shirt and aerial views video. The actual video of the flight in HD is also available for purchase for &40.00. Overall, the trip was better than expected and I cannot wait to fly over Maui with Blue Hawaiian when I return next year.

Ab magnificent but check DVD cost
Big Island - Waikoloa

Along with Pearl Harbour this was a true highlight of our cruise around the Hawaiin Islands for my wife's Hawaii 5ohhh birthday lol. We have been on Helicopter trips in the Caribbean as well as over Vegas and the Grand Canyon but this was truly awesome and highly exhilarating. Greg GoGo, our pilot, is just the coolest guy alive. In addition to being an obviously highly experienced pilot he builds a great rapport with his passengers and instils a great level of confidence immediately. He took the helicopter right up against cliffs, down into rain forestesque deep ravines and just gave us the most amazing experience of this landscape. He clearly is also very knowledgeable about the locale and was really, really interesting. Fantastic guy. The Company's ground staff were beautiful people too, very friendly and helpful as well as highly organised. The copters are top class and the supporting health and safety videos and drill were very well done. The in flight DVD is stunning quality and is a wonderful reminder of such a special trip. Just check before you buy however as we incurred the same cost of the DVD again in the U.K. As Customs added VA TAX and Royal Mail put an £8 handling charge. That said just don't miss out on this trip of a lifetime.

Great Flight!
Big Island - Hilo

We had a group of 6 who took the Circle of Fire flight over the volcano. Paid slightly more for the larger eco-star helo and glad we did. Had individual seats and a huge bubble canopy which made viewing easy. The pilot was outstanding. Very informative plus made us feel safe & secure. The flight was more like an elevator ride, very quiet and smooth. In spite of rain and clouds around the area, we were given great views of the lava vents including the flow into the ocean. On the way back he took us by some waterfalls. Worth the money! Only issue was they did not have a shuttle so we had to take a taxi to and from our location to the Hilo airport. They are located right next to the airline counters in the terminal.

Fantastic views!
Kauai - Lihue

Well we were booked and the weather was not good so they cancelled and we were able to reschedule for another day. I suggest you plan so if you get cancelled you still have open days to try again. Our pilot Brody is a local which showed is his knowledge and excitement for the island of Kauai! We had a smooth flight. The views are spectacular! This is worth the money spent! Highly recommend the helicopter ride!

The Helicopter tour of the island with waterfall landing with Blue Helicopter from Waikoloa heliport is a must do over a guide tour with the bus of the island…. we did both a lost a full day with the Island spectacular tour Robert’s of Hawaii unless you want to stop in a nuts place, chocolat manufacture in Hilo and at Royal Kona store which is a souvenir shop more than anything else….from the air you see everything and less than 2 hours A wonderful experience. Blue Hawaiian are real professional....if you want to do one thing this is it nothing else

A Must Do!!
Kauai - Lihue

This was a fantastic helicopter tour, the best I have done!! We did a great helicopter tour on the Big Island, however the scenery in Kauai is something else! The way to see this island is by air, and it is worth every cent. Something truly surreal. I highly recommend taking a helicopter tour, and Blue Hawaiian are fantastic! Our pilot Brodi was also great, being a local he had a wealth of knowledge and was very professional.

An absolute must do in Kauai. You will see parts of Kauai that can't by reached by vehicle. Breathtaking views of mountains, waterfalls and the Napali Coast. We would do this again in a second! Our pilot was GREAT ( Barrett )!!!

Yay, my first helicopter ride!
Big Island - Hilo

We chose the Circle of Fire plus Waterfalls tour on an Eco-Star while we were in Hawaii so we could see the active lava flows. Our day started with a quick check-in process and safety presentation. The presentation was short, easy to follow and showed safety is a priority with Blue Hawaiian. Whew! Next we were off to the tarmac and into the helicopter where the staff helped everyone take pictures with the helicopter and assisted each of us aboard. The Eco-Star helicopters have air-conditioning and are very comfortable. The best views of course are up front with the pilot, who was informative and friendly. The back window seats also have good views and the pilot we had turned the helicopter so both sides of the aircraft could see the same locations. The two middle seats are not the best, but you can definitely still see the sites. Thank you husband for letting me have the window seat. <3 I would say the best seat if you’re not in front, is the window seat behind the pilot so you’re sure to see most of what he’s seeing. Although, as I mentioned earlier, our pilot was careful to turn the craft so both sides saw the same sites. I was seated in the back, by the window, but NOT behind the pilot, and he did miss my side once for a second time around view…just say’in. I felt safe and comfortable during the entire flight and my husband and I both enjoyed a relaxing beautiful tour. RECOMMENDATION #1: I would suggest to anyone thinking of using a GoPro for pictures during their ride…bring a camera or use your phone camera as well. We used our GoPro most of the ride and unfortunately due to the inability to zoom in, the pictures were not as good as they could have been had I used my phones camera for closer shots. Waah! In hindsight, I probably would forget taking pictures and just buy the DVD from Blue Hawaiian at the end of your flight. Enjoy your magnificent ride and scenery instead. RECOMMENDATION #2: If you are wishing to see waterfalls, book a different tour unless you want to look at them from FAR above! Sorry Blue Hawaiian, but I was TRULY disappointed in the “Plus Waterfalls” portion of your tour. Had I not been on a catamaran tour earlier in our trip, I would have complained the minute we got back on the ground. We got closer to them driving to look out points or seeing them by boat. Not that there is any false advertising on the Blue Hawaiian website or anything…I just think they should leave the “Plus Waterfalls” bit off the tour description unless it’s clarified that it’s more a “Plus flying over from WAY above waterfalls tour.” I say under promise and over deliver is the best route here. Take that out of the tour description and people will be pleasantly surprised. RECOMMENDATION #3: Parking…Blue Hawaiian is AT the airport, next to the airline ticket counters if you depart from Hilo as we did, so you have to pay for parking. Or…I believe you can park in the lot next door where “the other” helicopter tour leaves from for free and walk 50 feet to Blue Hawaiian. I felt like that was kind of cheating though and it is Hawaii, so I would say just pay for parking. It wasn’t bad…$5-$7. The Blue Hawaiian employees were very friendly, professional, welcoming and cared about the satisfaction of their customers. I felt safe and comfortable during the entire flight, and my husband and I both enjoyed a relaxing beautiful tour. Thank you Blue Hawaiian!

Breathtaking Kauai!
Kauai - Lihue

We did this tour yesterday and it was the highlight of our trip. Shay was our pilot and he did and excellent job of showing us the island. Most of the island isn't accessible by car so this is the best way to see it. We were on the NCL cruise ship, but I booked this directly with Blue Hawaiian ( you will save a lot of money vs booking through the cruise ship). They also provided transportation to and from the port.
