We decided to take a helicopter flight over Oahu to get a different perspective on the beauty of the Hawaiian landscape. The service was very professional, from the pickup in Waikiki, to the pre-flight briefing, to our wonderful pilot that kept the whole cabin relaxed and focused on the spectacular views rather than the nerves of the first-time fliers. The flight itself took approx 40mins, in which time we started over Waikiki beach, then to Diamond Head, followed the East coast of the island up to the north shore, past Sunset Beach, then down through the middle of the island over Dole plantation, then finally past Pearl Harbor on the way back to the landing pad. Thoroughly enjoyable throughout, and highly recommended if you're looking for a new way to see Oahu!!

The previous reviews are correct, this tour is awesome! It is not easy for my husband and I to spend this kind of money on one activity but we heard from friends how "worth it" it was. I am absolutely thrilled we took the chance and went, this was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. The flight quickly gets you to the Kohala coast line which was prettier than I could have imagined. The pilot went into a number of the valleys where we were able to get up close and personal with some truly incredible waterfalls, these are places you could never see any other way. The pilot was was friendly and fun, I just can't say enough about how great this experience was!

I visited Hawaii for the first time and stayed on the big Island for 4 days. I ended up taking the helicopter tour on the 2nd day and my only regret is that this wasn't the very first thing I did upon landing. The tour is a fantastic way to get the layout of the island. Although I had a rental vehicle I quickly realized they don't call it the big Island for nothing. Driving from Hilo to Kona can easily take 2hrs and there is such a vast diversity of terrain on the island that helicopter is really the only way to take it all in. And really there are parts of the island that you can only access by copter. We were quite lucky that day because the flow was very active and put on a great show. The pilot was great, he kept the conversation flowing and had lots of fun anecdotes.

If you want to experience the beauty of Kauai but don't want to spend hours hiking, this is for you. Trevor was our pilot and he was great! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly a good pilot. He took us all over the island, including the Na Pali coast. The sights were surreal and the best I have ever seen. The helicopter itself has a lot of room and was comfortable. I would strongly recommend using Blue Hawaiian Helicopters if you want to see all of Kauai.

One of the coolest things I've ever done. Highly highly recommend. Miguel was amazing and so informative. The cliffs the waterfalls the view. Something to never forget. Felt very safe.

We had a great time on our helicopter tour of Oahu! Our pilot did a great job telling us about the island and moving the helicopter so that the people on both sides of the helicopter could see the sites! He even did this while in the mountains seeing the Sacred Falls waterfall. We had some turbulence, but felt safe the whole time. Would definitely recommend Blue Hawaiian! It's helicopters looked much better than their competitors!

We arrived without photo ID the first day and had to reschedule, so please remember to bring passports or driver licences with you. The flight was amazing. I have never been in a helicopter before but felt very safe with Brodie at the controls. We flew all over Oahu. He flew down the valley where the sacred falls are which you can not access by foot. So, it was great to see those. Along the northern coast he showed us Banzai pipeline and the big surf. Brodie was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the island. We had done the tour of Pearl Harbour the day before but Brodie added a few more details as we flew over. It was an amazing perspective to see it from the air.

Awesome two hour tour with landing at waterfall. We were a party of 7, so had the entire helicopter. Greg O was an awesome pilot/tour guide. He was great with our two girls. If you have motion sickness issues, recommend taking something ahead of flight. Lava was flowing and visible at 10am. Great way to see the Island in 2 hours.

We took the helicopter tour that took us along the coast, over the diverse terrain of the island , through deep valleys, by stunning waterfalls, lava tubes and lava spilling into the sea. Eric, our pilot was well informed and educated us on the history of the island, the economy etc. This flight was worth every penny. Don't miss out. This has been the highlight of our vacation.

*we did have to reschedule our flight because the president was on Oahu at the time and when he is moving around TSA and the Secret Service shuts down the helicopters. Once we took off you immediately head down the southern coast to Waikiki and over Diamond Head. Back over Punchbowl and Pearl Harbor then up over the center of the Island and the Dole Plantation to Sacred Falls and the North Shore. Breath taking views and a great experience. Blue Hawaiian Helicopter flight was all if not more than we had hoped for. Although our flight was late in the day, the variable weather patterns around Kauai mean that what we saw in the afternoon those in the morning may have missed. What a fantastic island to explore, so many variations to the landscape. These pilots really can show you the good sides to the island and take you to places you read about. Great memories to take home.

We took the flight at the start of our first visit to Kauai and our pilot, Greg, gave us so much interesting history and information about the island. We bought the video and we're glad we have it!

I highly recommend seeing Kauai by helicopter. You are able to see parts of Kauai that are only accessible by long hikes, if at all. Our pilot Shay had lots of interesting facts to share and he answered all of my son's questions. I had some trouble with motion sickness but I was still able to enjoy the beautiful views. If you are prone to motion sickness make sure to take something before your tour.
