Took my entire family with Dale our incredible pilot on a tour from Kona to Hilo over active lava flow! We then landed in Hilo for a quick stop and continued on to the waterfalls (I would highly suggest a waterfall landing, definitely worth the extra money). The only issue was our 3 year old daughter did not have a booster seat and had issues with her headset and harness. We let the manager know about it afterwards and they took care of it for us. First class organization and amazing once in a lifetime experience. Our pilot Dale was not only a rock star pilot, but was funny and full of really fascinating information about the island. I would HIGHLY recommend this!

Yep I am prejudice since the company I retired from own Blue but I am also very critical. We had a great experience on our flight. Barrett was a very great pilot and very knowledgeable about the area. The EC130 is a very stable helicopter and provides an excellent vehicle to see the island. We purchased the video and would highly recommend it as a great memory of the area. I was very comfortable on the entire flight. I would highly recommend Blue Hawaiian

Just got back to condo from our flight over Kauai. We loved every second of it!!! I took many photos out of our window, we sat up front with our pilot, Miguel. He was great!!! Very knowledgeable and an awesome pilot. Had I realized how wonderful this activity was, I would have done it at the beginning of our Kauai vacation, not near the end. Gave me a much better understanding of the island. The beauty is outstanding. Our friends recommended Blue and Miguel and we will do the same!!!

Took this flight on our second day on the island...I would recommend it early in your trip as you get an overview of the whole island and it is so informative. Our pilot, Scott was knowledgeable and I couldn't believe how close he flew the helicoptor to the ground! We saw lots of waterfalls and the visibility was excellent. You can buy a video of your flight also. Totally worth the cost...$210 for 55 minutes.

We booked a helicopter tour for the day after we arrived. It was raining on the drive there from Poipu. They cancelled the flight for safety reasons. I am glad that they cared about our safety and wouldn't fly in inclement conditions as other outfits do. We rescheduled for the next day. Bought gift cards in Costco for a 20 percent discount. The next day the flight was awesome. Our guide was funny and very informative. The scenery is breathtaking and the tide was very smooth in the ecostar. The guide made sure we had time to take pictures. Highly recommend.

The view from the helicopter is indescribable. Yes its a bit pricey but worth it. There is no other way to see the Napali Coast up close like this. The ride was fairly smooth and the pilot very informative.

This company is very nice and informative. They show you an informational video before you go on and give you a dark shirt to wear if yours is too bright. Best to wear dark clothes or you get a lot of glare when taking pictures. The pilots are very experienced about flying as well as the island. They also give you a device to be able to ask questions while on the trip. It's about an hour long. Around 250.00 per person which is a bit expensive but I thought well worth it. They're also taking videos of the activity in the cockpit and outside the copter that you can buy at the end. We went on a no cloud beautiful sunny day which I would highly recommend for good pictures.

The helicopter tour of Kauai was one of the highlights of our trip. Everyone at Blue Hawaiian was professional and friendly. Our pilot, Brody, was THE BEST! We loved that he knew so much about the island, and was respectful of history and the environment. He encouraged discussion and answered all our questions.The island is incredibly beautiful, and we saw so many things we would not have otherwise seen. I was at a window and my husband had an inside seat. We were both pleased with our views. I would not hesitate to recommend Blue Hawaiian to anyone going to visit Kauai.

Though severe weather led to cancelling our flight, we enjoyed the prep-time and instruction. The staff was personable and helpful. The facilities were clean and organized. The pilot was very professional about the need to cancel for the day. They were very helpful in trying to help arrange for another tour as we visited another island. I would definitely use this service again

Went second day here. Loved the hour long trip and seen things we would otherwise would've not seen. Beautiful waterfalls and friendly staff. Excellent with explaining areas to us. Our pilot Scott was well experienced and answered questions we asked.

We opted to see the island by helicopter, and what a good choice we made! The ride is exhilarating and gives offers a unique view of the various sights. I felt very comfortable with our pilot whose narration was informative and humorous with a very calming delivery (in case anyone on board was a bit nervous). Although not inexpensive, it is an experience that will provide enduring memories.

This was my first ever trip to Hawaii and first ever helicopter ride..on that note I could not have been more thrilled. Our pilot Miguel was very knowledgeable and so polite engaging each person on the flight and pointing out every detail of our tour. This was the highlight of my trip and will be remembered for a lifetime. Thank you Miguel and the whole staff at Blue Hawaiian Tours for making a dream come true for this Washington State girl!

This is one professional outfit. I felt totally safe and secure in the helicopter, even though I was a bit nervous about it. Our pilot, Brad was great, very calming and informative. It was one of the best things we did on vacation. The views are wonderful. Worth every cent paid.
