Went on Eco helicopter with our pilot Adam. Was recommended by Shawn at Pleasure a Tours. Was worth every cent. So glad I decided to do this tour with my son.

This was my first time on a helicopter. It was a great experience that I recommend to anyone. It was a smooth ride. The pilot was a great tour guide. At the end, we were able to purchase the video of our flight.

Brody did a wonderful job of showing us all around and telling us the history of the island. The only thing is you don't pick your seats, the computer does for weight. (which is understandable but good to know.) Everything is run like a clock, which is expected when flying in the air. We went as a family of 4 and had a wonderful time and felt safe the entire tour. It's worth the price. Bucket list must do.

My wife and I and a friend took the tour on our first full day on the island and it was well worth the expense. The ground crew was very organized and was helpful and thorough with a safety briefing and assistance boarding the aircraft. Pilot Miguel was an excellent tour guide. The aircraft held six passengers and each has a headset to listen to the pilot, and several microphones to ask questions. The flight took us around the south and west shores, and inland through canyons,over mountains and rainbows,and past waterfalls you just could not see by land. Aside from a friendly back and forth with all the passengers, Miguel was aware of photo conditions and made sure to turn the helicopter so passengers on both sides could get the shot they wanted. The trip lasts a bit under an hour - with check-in and briefing plus post-flight photos, you'll be there about two hours total. If you are on Kauai, make time for this tour.

Thanks to Blue Hawaiian and our pilot Ian for the lift around the Big Island. The views on the Kohala Coast tour were stunning and our pilot was very engaging, showing us sights we would have otherwise never known about. We had only four days on the island and the tour was a great way to experience the northern area. Mahalo from Kyle and Karen in St Louis.

This is the third helo flight I have reviewed, all with Blue Hawaiian (no I do not work for them and yes it did cost a bit for the ride). But holy heck was it worth it. Ethan was our pilot. We watched him land the previous passengers and he was so smooth and controlled we knew we would be in good hands. What we hadn't reckoned on was that he would have a biology background. This meant he could educate us in flora, fauna, and every other aspect of the natural environment. For those of us with a science background this was the icing on the cake. His descriptions and info on past eruptions, state of play with the cinder cone, active lava flows and other aspects of volcanology were spot on. In terms of cost this is an average cost for a quality experience and I know that herein NZ the costs of helo rides are much higher. Would I do this specific ride again? Yes I would and I am already saving for my next trip out there for other flyovers they do.

First time on a Helicopter...and it was great. EcoStar front row seat had amazing views. The sharp turns in order to get us spectacular vantage points from above were great by our pilot Dale. I do recommend taking something or wear those bracelets if you get any type of motion sick. Regardless, that is a great thing to do if you have the funds as it is not cheap.

This company is professional from the gitgo. The staff is courteous and helpful. The tour is top notch. The pilot we had, Loren, was great. He answered any and all questions and offered many great perspectives of Oahu. Also, Loren is Veteran, so, many thanks for your service and thank you for a great tour of Oahu! You can only imagine what the valleys, vistas, waterfalls, cliffs and lava look like driving through them only gives you a micro view. But soaring above you get a macro view that will leave you breathless, and all too soon your 45 minutes of air flight is over. If you can afford this trip you will not be disappointed and the sights will be forever seared into your memory that will never ever leave. We were very fortunate that it had just rained heavily and all the waterfalls were in their full glory, and the winds were gusting 40 to 50 mph which cleared the air and the sights of the Hawaii were not hindered at all. Our pilot Tom guided us through the valleys and amphitheater's presenting us a fantastic view of the best of Hawai'i's rain forests and 1000' + waterfalls. All in all a great way to end our vacation here. Thank you very much Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tours.

It was my first time on a helicopter. It was a lot of fun. I felt safe during the entire trip. The pilot, Adam, was really pleasant, polite and fun too. I purchased the video of the flight for $26 and I am very happy to have a recording of those amazing 50 minutes!

What an Amazing Adventure ! If you can do it , DO IT . The best 55 minutes of a lifetime . We bought the video of our tour . FYI...The more you weigh , the more you PAY ! We decided to leave a comment on the computer after our ride and was quite surprise to receive an email that read , if you would like a free DVD , reply to the email . Several days later we received the DVD.....The staff was very friendly and our Pilot Chris was fantastic . Thank you Blue Hawaiian for an adventure of a Lifetime ! Mahalo

Ian was an incredible pilot and guide for our volcano and Waipio Valley helicopter tour! From take off to landing, Blue Hawaiian Helicopters were just first rate and the helicopter looked brand new, spotless glass for maximum viewing, and Ian got us close enough to each site, big or small, that we could take as many photos as we needed and then put the camera down and firmly set the incredible visual memories in our memory banks forever! This tour was priceless! We had the best day possible weather wise and no vog so, with Ian's storytelling, history and geography lesson, and perfect music selection playing, we were literally on cloud #9!!

This was an epic journey. Do not miss this! Ian is an amazing pilot and tour guide... Highly recommend him if you can make it happen!

Fun outing. safety brief, prep etc was not too lengthy. friendly and courteous staff. reasonable price for SD card from inside the helicopter. I would def recommend this outing. Must-do activity for Hawaii trip.

If you want to see the entire island and you don't want to fight traffic, I would highly recommend taking a Blue Hawaiian helicopter. The flight was nice and smooth. We got to see mountains, waterfalls and vast farms of vegetables, bananas and pineapples. We also saw much of the coastline. It was a great trip.
