My recommendation is that if you are going to take a helicopter ride on the island of Kauai you definitely take it with Blue Hawaiian and book it to take place immediately following your arrived. Brody was our pilot and he was excellent. Not only will you be amazed by the beauty and diversity of this Hawaiian island, but you will see everything from the air before exploring it by Sea and foot in your upcoming days as a visitor.

We took our flight on April 23, 2015, with pilot Brody. We're told he's the best, and I believe it. He made the experience. His background music selections were perfect for the scenery. His narration was touching, as he described his love and reverence for this island and it's traditions and culture. Brody made this a spiritual experience. I cannot say enough about this excursion. It was beautiful and memorable. We love watching the video of our flight. The scenery is almost too much to take in, especially since you can't really see out all sides of the helicopter. I highly recommend you purchase the video of your flight. The four cameras take better video than you can get on your camera, plus you get all the narration and music. I would do this again in a heartbeat--it was worth every penny.

Did this on the fly and was glad we did. It was an amazing tour with opportunities to enjoy the unique landscape. Wear dark colors to eliminate the glare in the windows. Check out Costco for discounted tickets and book in advance. Wonderful narration with information on Jurasic Park location. We were lucky to fly with the lost World pilot. We will always remember this flight and the wonderful Na Pali Coast.

We were lucky enough to take a Blue Hawaiian Helicopter Tour recently with Barrett as our pilot. It was one of the most amazing experiences ever. You have to see the beauty of Kauai to believe it, you really can't describe it. And to be able to see sea caves, tunnels, dramatic cliffs, craters from a helicopter -- it's just a blast. Our pilot was informative about the island's history and ecosystem. Overall, it was a lot of fun. A must-do.

Not my first trip to Kauai, but first time I've seen it like this. It was stunning. Stunning. The facilities, the helicopters, the service and the pilots were all perfect, and the experience was priceless. Do it.

We took a two hour tour of Hawaii and must admit that it was the highlight of our trip. Pilot, Greg, was skillful and entertaining, showing us volcanoes, valleys and whales on our tour of the island. Words and photos do not do justice to what you see on this flight. We were fortunate to have clear weather which enabled us to get to back valleys. It is a pricey trip, but it is once in a lifetime opportunity!!

I found them to be very professional in organisation, which took the fun edge of the trip. I am assuming that they are doing exactly what they should be doing, people sit in seats as weight, you move out to the tarpac single file and wait for your number to enter the helicopter, I have flown many times and have never had this experience. The island tour was great the pilot very knowledgable, We did have problems after the tour we purchased the video and the credit card wasnt working and we paid cash, We were assured the credit card wouldnt be charged but it was, and all attempts to contact them has been met with silence from their end.

Loved the adventure! The views were breathtaking and the guide was informative and fun! The tour as worth every penny and created breath taking memories for both of us. You have to watch the weather, they cancel for rain and fog. We bought e DVD to remember he adventure but it was so thin it snapped as we removed it from the case, we recommend the flash drive instead. Really bummed we will not get to see the adventure again. The waterfalls and the ocean views were beyond words. Best adventure to take!

Our Hawaiian holiday was meant to be a time for us to relax & unwind as well as celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Tragically & quite unexpectedly my husband passed away. Our children arrived shortly after. The helicopter flight was on our list of things to do, so with our children we took the flight. The helicopter tour over Kauai came highly recommended to us by a friend and particularly with this company. I must say I am glad we listened to her as it was an amazing experience. Being in an helicopter is already something but the views are out of this world! There is no better way to see the island. The music adds to the moment and the possibility of speaking with the pilot and asking questions at any time makes the tour very personal. I still wish we sat at the front but do understand the weight was well distributed and must admit the view is still pretty good from any seat. It is comfortable, felt safe and although they see many tourists a day, they give an excellent service and make you feel welcome.

A must do while in Kauai! Expensive and worth it. Pilot takes you over scenic waterfalls, Napali Coast cliffs, Waimea Canyon, and it's visually stunning. You can't see the whole island from driving, so it's spectacular. You can get a DVD of your trip or a generic Hawaii sights DVD with your trip. .

My parents and my family of 4 took a tour of Oahu on Blue Hawaiian. It was a great trip. Unfortunately, President Obama was on the island, so some of the air space on the east side of the island was restricted. Even so, we saw most of Oahu, a tucked away waterfall only accessible by helicopter and our pilot Julie was great. My wife and I were in Hawaii 20 years ago and took the same tour but on Maui. Both trips were equally fantastic. You will be offered a DVD or SD Card of your flight (for a fee). I opted for the SD Card this time (VHS 20 years ago). For some reason I can’t get the audio to play on the card but it may be an operator error. If you’re wanting to see all the beauty of Oahu in about an hour, this is the right place.

We had an amazing ride around Kauai with Blue Hawaiian. Our pilot, Brodi, was a wonderful guide and shared with us great information about this breath-taking island. We had the opportunity to fly into the crater that birthed the island. It took your breath away! We had a fantastic time and would definitely fly with Blue Hawaiian again in the future. Mahalo!
