We did the big island spectacular. Pilot was great, he did a good job making sure everyone had a chance to see the lava/waterfalls/etc. I thought the waterfall landing was the highlight. We did get cancelled the day we were scheduled to go, so would recommend scheduling earlier in your stay in the area.

We had our share of quite a number of helicopter flights all over the world, but we were very impressed with the professionalism of Blue Hawaiian and very happy with the tour. We flew the Big Island Spectacular and it was fantastic. Our pilot did a great job with everything, so a big THANKS (unfortunately we cannot remember the name - you came one day spontaneously to Hawaii and decided to stay and become a helicopter pilot)! We were very lucky and saw amazing lava flows! Even if it is not cheap to do a tour, we definitely recommend it, it is worth the memory.

I could not have been more thrilled or more comfortable with the total experience. This flight will rate as one of the best experiences of my life. My particular thanks to Mike Thatcher for a superlative flight and education about Hawaii. My wife and I will enjoy the videos for years to come with an opportunity to relive the experience. My special thanks to the Blue Hawaii Staff as well as they made the total experience a most memorable one.

We had an awesome pilot (Joffrey, sp?) & I have seen much of the island from boat and road previously so the highlight for me was seeing the middle of the island. I have never seen so many waterfalls and Mt. Waialeale crater was the highlight for me. A very comfortable and gentle flight that seemed more than an hour with all that we observed. Best value & best way to see the island by far.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters offer an incredible and comfortable 5 star view of the untouched and unreachable parts of Kauai. We were warmly welcomed by the clean, modern terminal were the friendly staff assisted us with what we needed. The instruction video and the safety equipment was not a challenge. We didn't wait too long for the helicopters to arrive, and we enjoyed viewing the choppers land right in front of us. Our pilot, Joffrey was absolutely great - funny, kind and knowledgeable. He gave a detailed an interesting explanation of the trip. It was a flight extraordinaire. An unforgettable memory. The tour lasted about half an hour, and we managed to take a detailed loop of all of Kauai, taking time to circle around every inspiring landmark. The pilot takes time to turn the helicopter around for every passenger to get a decent view of the coast or the waterfalls from his/her side. Landing was soft; there is nothing to be afraid of. The helicopter wasn't shaky at all. It can get a bit cold so I would recommend to wear a jacket or a sweater. When we returned to the terminal, we were once again greeted with pleasure and respect. The crew offered to take a picture of us by the helicopter. They also provide you with a high quality video of your flight, taken from different angles and positions throughout the trip. It isn't complementary though, and costs about twenty dollars with tax. Overall, Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was outstanding in anyway you could imagine. I strongly recommend this trip for anybody who visits the beautiful Kauai.

I have never taken a helicopter tour, but I think this is the only way to really tour the island. We had views that you will never see by land. The experience with this company was awesome, our pilot, Jason was awesome! I just can't say enough about it. This is a must!

We've been on other tours and this was the best. Loved the Na Pali coast, going into Waimea Canyon, and the rainiest spot on earth. Professional group.

From check in to landing a first class operation. Pilot Marty ensured all had a great views, was very professional and personable. It is the best way to see the beautiful island of Kauai!

When visiting all the Hawaiian Islands you must take a helicopter ride. While on Kona, we used Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tours (we live on Kauai and have used them there). Professional and safety to a fault. Very friendly staff and the pilots are awesome. A MUST!

I had never been in a helicopter before, but it was on my bucket list. Greg, our pilot, was calm and confident, with many years' flying experience, and he made it easy to get over the first-time jitters. And what we saw... well, it was simply amazing! We would never have seen so much of the Big Island any other way, and we saw stunning scenery - macadamia farms, gorgeous coastline, glowing red hot spots on the volcano and some amazingly beautiful waterfalls. I'm very careful with our vacation dollars, but this was worth every penny.

This is was the perfect way to see the island. Our pilot, Adam, was knowledgeable and honest. We saw all there was to see on the island and it was exhilarating! I recommend you do this first as an overview so you can decide what you want to see and do while on the island.

An excellent way to take in the entire island in 45-50 minutes. The views were amazing and our Pilot, Adam, was knowledgeable and helpful. From the safety briefing, to the final touchdown, a thoroughly professional company.

This tour was amazing and my wife didn't feel the least bit sick until we started going in and out of one of the valleys near the end of the tour - she gets terrible motion sickness. We went around the whole Island and our pilot Ian was very friendly and a pleasure to ride with. We saw lots of lava and saw trees burning, lava breaking and while viewing this saw a wonderful rainbow that poked out and circled the chopper. It was an amazing experience and one that I will remember for many years to come. The only thing I didn't like was the price but realistically for what it is and the cost to the operator of running the entire operation (wages, fuel and maintenance etc.) it was very competitively priced. You can't put a price on a life experience like this, well I guess you can but you should accept the cost and savour the experience - it is money well spent!

We had a fantastic and truly memorable flight this morning with Loren, it really is a must do trip, very smooth and comfortable, got to see loads of things that we wouldn't have seen on the ground, cannot recommend it enough.
