Awesome tour - covered all the main attractions, really excellent helicopter (EC130) - I've done lots of flying in Jetrangers so nice upgrade! Very professional & very nice touch to have the personal DVD. I'll do the Maui tour next visit!

This was our favorite excursion during our trip to Honolulu. We went on the day of our 25th anniversary and they were kind enough to let us have the front seats! What a view. Thanks so much for the special treatment! We took pictures and purchased the DVD.

Great job to Scott and the crew! We would have loved to seen the volcanoes today but safety was more important to all of us. The cliffs were absolutely gorgeous and the extra whale watching was a bonus!

Took the 7:30 tour and it was spectacular just like it advertised. Saw the caldera and lava lake and flew directly over the vent seeing lava oozing from the ground and tube cracking open and glowing red along with burning brush along the way. The pilot made sure each passenger got a good luck. Also went up in to the valleys at the north end of the island headed straight in to waterfalls and in to narrow valleys that were absolutely overwhelmingly beautiful. The only glitch was that you could not hear questions/answers over the mics and headsets. Worth the money for sure.

A wonderful flight to the waterfalls. It's hard to even comprehend just how secluded these falls are and the grand size of the falls are only appreciated when you see another helicopter fly past! Awesome pilot too!

Education is good but entertainment helps the learning curve. Barret saw to it that we were entertained with our education of the island. Sonya and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and company. Keep up the great work.

Helicopter tours are expensive. For many it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. So when you take a tour you want to make sure the experience is memorable. Blue Hawaiian makes sure its guests get the most out of their flight. Our first scheduled flight was cancelled due to weather. We saw other companies flying off into the cloudy sky. Blue Hawaiian chose to cancel rather than fly in less than ideal conditions. Appreciated them doing this. We were able to reschedule our flight. Conditions were much better on our 2nd try. Had a wonderful flight we will remember forever. I am giving only 4 stars due to the nature of helicopter tours in general and not Blue Hawaiian specifically. Helicopter tours are expensive and weather is unpredictable. 5 stars for Blue Hawaiian if weather was perfect. That may be unfair, but tours are expensive. So my advice, if possible, wait to book to get as perfect weather conditions as possible.

Amazing flight with Brandon. Entertaining and informative. We loved every minute of it and it flew by very quickly. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

We absolutely knew we had to do a helicopter tour for our 40th anniversary trip to Maui. I had looked at many of the companies that offered a tour. I chose Blue Hawaiian because they were simply rated the best. They might have been a little more expensive than some but really.....it was well worth it. From the individual headphones to the microphones we each had to communicate and hear with. It was worth it!!! We decided to do the EcoStar and the Hana/Haleakala tour. It seems like the stars aligned for us as we were lucky enough to get the two front seats with our pilot Barrett! What a thrill! It was the adventure of a lifetime and we are so happy we chose Blue Hawaiian Helicopter. We chose to purchase the tour we were on too. We just had to have a copy of our once in a lifetime adventure!! Mahalo to Barrett. What a great host, pilot and knowledgeable and personable guy!

Brad: He is just the most awesome tour director and pilot. Most informative trip with humour and answering our questions. He knows this trip so well and his flying ability was superb as we dropped into craters and flew close enough to touch the trees beside the waterfalls. Lots of opportunities to take photos and whet our appetite for the DVD. Thanks Brad for the metric references and the stories to remember forever. Cheers and more blue sky in your future. Mahalo. Geoff, our pilot, was charming, confident and provided wonderful commentary on our aerial journey. What amazing views! My husband was giddy with pleasure with his front seat window view, and I scored the center front seat, so we were fortunate in that respect. But I know for a fact that the Australian couple behind us was just as enamored with the experience as we were. We were on the tarmac on a late Saturday morn, when they canceled our first flight due to incoming clouds and low visibility. Of course, we were disappointed, but I took the advice of others and planned for this contingency by booking the flight early in our stay so we could shuffle it if necessary. Two days later, we were up in the air. So worth the wait and reschedule for the right weather!

Excellent experience. Scott our pilot, did a great job of explaining what we where seeing, and the different demographic area's we where flying over. Also saw a lot of whales during our flight along with amazing canyons, waterfalls and coastlines. Would recommend to all. Don't like heights, but was comfortable, smooth and very relaxing. Aloha!

Haven't ever done a helicopter tour before so I can't really compare it to anything else, but overall we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Staff and pilot were professional, informative and friendly. Not much we can add that others haven't already said. Admittedly expensive, so probably won't do anything like this again soon, but definately worth it this time.

First rate pilot, and great scenic tour. Not too much to say except it was amazing and we would do it again!

My wife and I were in Hawaii to celebrate our anniversary (41 years). We have been there numerous times but usually stayed with relatives so we never actually did all the things tourists do there. This was the first time we acted like tourists and the excursion with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was a tremendous hit with both of us. Not only did we get to see the island from a different perspective we were totally impressed with the staff; their attentiveness to detail and safety and their professionalism as well as be some of the friendliest people you could. I don't know when we're going back but the helicopter flight will be on the top of our Hawaiian "Bucket List"!!! Mahalo.
