Twelve girlfriends, ranging in age from 53 to xxx, took a cruise around the islands. Five of us chose to do this helicopter tour on the last day of our cruise. We did a safety training video prior to going and it was helpful--it got us ready so that there wasn't any last minute hassle getting us prepared. Our pilot was Brody, a native of the island, and he was amazing. He remembered all of our names, made sure to turn the helicopter at all locations so that everyone was able to clearly see the amazing sites. Brody's love of the island, it's history and culture, was so obvious. All of us talked after about how we felt so honored and lucky to have him share his passion for his home with us. It was definitely the highlight of our vacation. The sites were incredible, I particularly enjoyed the Na Pali coastline. I would definitely go again!

Loved it. Video you take home was worth it because we have showed more people that video than our wedding video! No complaints, professional and well organized. Just plain enjoyable.

Blue Hawaiian has it figured out! Our pilot Chase gave us a warm and friendly greeting before loading us up for our days adventure. Chase let us know he was not originally from Hawaii but you would have never guessed that with all of his knowledge of the island and additional islands. Not only did he gave us our monies worth with knowledge of the islands, but his piloting skills thru different canyons to see the beautiful waterfalls was amazing! As part of our package, Chase landed the helicopter on top of a hillside, while we walked around taking in the amazing views he was busy pouring us champagne, and was a wonderful host. To anyone planning a trip to Maui a helicopter tous is a must see and do. Blue Hawaiian did a great job making us feel safe and in good hands with Chase as our pilot. They were professional, customer oriented and very friendly.

I treated my two sons (13 and 11) to a helicopter ride before leaving Hawaii. As I booked it I wondered if I'd done the right thing, but it ended up being the highlight of the trip. My oldest and I were in the front which yielded really great views, my youngest got a window seat. I think if we'd been stuck in the back middle seats it would have been less stunning. We had a bit of haze, but were able to see a ton. Saw whales playing in the water, even swooped down for a better view. Enjoyed the lovely leeward side with beaches, etc. My favorite was going among the mountains to see waterfalls and just lush forests. Reminded me of some of the stunning views shown on Hawaii 5-0. Our pilot Julie had lots of interesting info, just the right amount. Highly recommend if it can be in the budget!

This is expensive and will cost around $500 per person if you leave from Waikalola but it is a two hour tour and absolutely worth the splurge!

A huge thankyou to our wonderful pilot Eli !! He was amazing ...not only professional and informative but totally engaging in his humour and wit. He made a fantastic trip even better ! Although the cost is high for the 2 hour flight, this is such a must do and worth every dollar !! The scenery is mind blowing and although I was anxious for my first flight in a helicopter, Eli made the trip so enjoyable, and the scenery was so magical that it was the highlight of our entire trip !!

We had a simply wonderful tour of Oahu with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. Our pilot, Christy, was both fun and informative. She demonstrated a wonderful and unique wealth of knowledge of the island and made the tour a lot of fun. We highly recommend taking this tour if you are in the area visiting.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is one of the many companies that offers helicopter rides on Kauai. And a helicopter ride is one of the few ways to see the Napali Coast line. They schedule up to 40 trips a day. The beauty of flying with Blue Hawaiian is that you can obtain gift certificates at the Costco on Kauai that will save you about 20%. (You buy $500 of gift certificates for $400 at Costco) It costs right around $245.5 per person for the approximately 1 hour tour. Lighter people are on the outside and front, so whoever is lighter gets the best view. It is important to wear dark clothes that cover your arms and legs to minimize your reflection on the windows. This will enhance your and other's photos. They take a video of your tour and it can be purchased for $40 afterwards (and if you purchased the Costco gift cards, because Blue Hawaiian doesn't give change, your left over balance Costco gift card will also get you $6.88 off the video.

I was so excited to go in a helicopter that Ibwasn't even thinking about what I was going to see. Our former Afghanastan air force pilot took us on the most incredible tour of our lives. I was fortunate to get the front seat and had windows atvmy feet and a panaromic front view. Chris was a great guide and showed us everything. The gorgeous coastline, the Jurassic Park waterfalls, valleys, rainforests, everything you could want to see and more. If you are prone to motion sickness, tey taking Bonine at least one hour prior to flight. Unfortunately a gentleman in the back seat got very sick. I'd taken the Bonine and felt great.mi really could have stayed up there for hours. Try it!!

Beautiful views...stunning experiences. The pilot was also amazing in his comments and information. The crater and waterfall view will stay with me all my life. So comfortable--like sitting in my recliner.

Judy here, Larry's wife. We went to Kauai for a softball tournament and I was getting bored after watching game after game. Larry said, "Why don't you pick something to do that would be fun and memorable." We had flown on Blue Hawaiian Helicopters on Maui a few years ago and knew they were a first rate outfit so since I had some time for myself and did want to do something memorable, I knew where to go. Blue Hawaiian Kauai didn't disappoint! Loved being able to see the Na Pali coast and Waimea Canyon. Spectacular! The pilot was knowledgeable, made us all feel safe and the ground staff were professional a full of aloha. Hey, there are other helicopter companies but for me, Blue Hawaiian gets it done.

If you want to see an active volcano from the best vantage point this is for you! We did the tour out of Hilo. Jeremy was our pilot and he was great! He was so friendly and knowledgeable. We did a bunch of passes around the volcano from both sides so that everyone could see. There were multiple places you could see active lava flowing. Then we followed the lava out to the ocean. We did several passes again on both sides to watch the lava flow into the ocean. Absolutely incredible views. I've seen a couple of volcanos in other countries but have never gotten such a great view or been able to see lava flowing. After that we saw a giant group of waterfalls. It was very beautiful from the sky. Then headed back to the airport. It was so much fun. I highly recommend helicopter tour.

Top flight . Great pilots . Excellent ground staff, Once again this flight with this company exceeded my expectations. only way to fully appreciate this Island of Kauai.
