Blue Hawaiian were fantastic. Very professional and well organised. We flew early in the morning and it was fanatastic. Gave us a great view of the Island and all of its beauty. Our pilot was the best. Good humour and very knowledgable about the island and country. The trip is pricey but Blue Hawaiian have the best aircraft, pilot and staff. Well done.

We recently returned from Hawaii two days ago, and at first booking, I was a little apprehensive about doing a helicopter ride - I have a fear of heights. But this was by far the highlight of our trip and I am so glad we experienced it on Blue Hawaiian. Our pilot Geoff was excellent. You really have to experience this - the majesty of it all will bring you to tears. Now that we are home and watched our personalized video, it brought me to tears once again. Thank you Blue Hawaiian. Many mahola's!!

My wife, and another couple all went on a Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour of Kauai. None of us had ever been on a helicopter before, and while excited there were also some nerves. Every employee at Blue Hawaiian is professional and takes safety very seriously. When we booked the reservations a few months ago we requested to all ride together in the same helicopter, and they were more than happy to meet that request. The ride was outstanding!! Very smooth, not bumpy at all, headsets are comfortable and the pilot did a remarkable job talking about the island and giving us a great ride in the valleys, craters, etc! It was amazing, and well worth the money!! We chose Blue Hawaiian based on referrals from friends, and we are glad we chose them!! The CD is optional for $25, and we love it! Booked this trip when we got to Hawaii - the helicopter ride lasts 45 minutes and leaves from the other side of the airport. From beginning to end, this flight was a well organised, efficient operation. Once on board the craft we were given a safety briefing and then we were off, travelling first along the Waikiki strip and past Diamond Head. Then we followed the coast line all the way up to around Sunset Beach before returning over the pineapple plantations. We flew along the route followed by the Japanese bombers towards Pearl Harbour and even had permission to enter this zone. The opportunities to take photos were endless and as a bonus, a DVD was made with the commentary made during the flight - this cost $25 to purchase but it was worth it. There are specific times available during the day to do this flight and all up it probably needs about 3 hours including pick up and drop off. It is wise not to take anything more than your camera and wallet with you - you can't take it on the helicopter - it is stowed in a secure locker at the helicopter base. This is a fabulous way to see the island and take great photos as well.

My two sons, 14 and 12, rated this as the best thing they did on our Oahu vacation last month. I had never taken a helicopter tour before. I also enjoyed it a lot.

I was not dissapointed in this flight. I saw a lot of Oahu you just don't get to see from land. The helicopter was great, with headphones and microphones, the pilot was very knowledgable and safe and the staff where fantasctic. Great value.....do it!!!

Felt extremely safe and all staff were very friendly and chatted with us before and after the flight. Brandon, our pilot, was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient with all questions. We were amazed at the scenery from the air, much of which we had already seen on foot, but also places that would not be able to be seen any other ways. Hovering inside the crater which was the birthplace of Kaua'i was a treat beyond imagining! Mahalo!

Blue Hawaiian is a very professional outfit with competent and well-informed pilots. Very safe helicopters - the ride was quite smooth. Weather is a very critical factor in the quality of the experience - for example, on our trip, there was very dense low cloud cover over land, so we spent most of the tour over the ocean with brief forays over land to see some waterfalls. Would really have liked to spend more time in the canyons, over the cliffs etc. Also could not visit Mt. Wai'ale'ale (which was billed as the highlight of the tour) due to the weather. I think the company should reschedule or offer a second tour at 50% discount when the cloud cover is so dense, as it really detracts from the tour. Sitting on the left side is not so great since most of the time, you are over ocean with the land on the right, but the pilot was helpful and when we did go over land, he turned the helicopter around to ensure good views from the left as well.

Great way to see the island. The crew was very professional and the pilot was very friendly and personable. The flight was very smooth. Went with a very large group of people and they were able to accommodate the group very well.

We took a helicopter tour through Blue Hawaiian Helicopters on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. It was an amazing experience. The Helicopters are extremely well cared for and replaced every couple of years. Our pilot, Jason was excellent. He narrated our tour exceptionally well. The views cannot be re-created. This was a wonderful experience and worth the $500 it cost for my husband and I!!!

We are really glad we took this tour which took us around the Island. We would do it again only on another Island. Our pilot Jonathan was very knowledgeable. We were a little scared before we went but there is nothing to be afraid of. I hate heights but this did not bother me at all. Really everyone has to try it at least once in there lifetime.

I recently went on a tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and they were amazing! We got rained out our first try but they were focusing on safety and the fact that you couldn't see anything, which I appreciate. They re-booked us for later that day and we went up with our great pilot Zach. We saw so many cool things and the view from the helicopter was amazing. We learned about the island and got to see some really cool things like the lava. I would absolutely go back!

We took the 45-min island tour and it was worth every penny. You can only see so much from driving around the island. Johnathan was our pilot and he pointed out spots to see along the way. I would highly recommend doing this, and would do it again and again! Thanks Blue Hawaiian!

The Island has so many beautiful things to see on the ground, but from the air it is awesome. We enjoyed it so much that we would have liked a little longer flight! Don't bother spending the $25 for the movie of your flight, just take a really good camera and wear dark clothes to help avoid glare. Our pilot was great and pointed out many points of interest along the way. We highly recommend this tour and be sure to fly Blue Hawaiian!
