My wife and I recently flew on Blue Hawaiian for our honeymoon, and we noticed right away that they are an exceptionally professional company with a knowledgeable staff. From the safety briefing to the pilot's expert flying, knowledge of Hawaiian history, and guidance around the island, this was an experience we will never forget!! When planning my vacation on Oahu, I knew a helicopter tour was needed to fully experience Oahu's beauty. I am completely satisfied with my choice to fly with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters. The whole experience from start-to-finish was perfectly executed. Their helicopters are clearly top-of-the-line and the pilot was both professional and entertaining. I confidently recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and encourage everyone to see the islands by air - it is an unbeatable experience.

This was a great experience. We all felt very safe and were surprised at how much of Oahu is still untouched. Outstanding coverage of the whole island of Oahu. The pilot gave us insightful information on where to go next and what to see. I recommend this trip to anyone as a must do for any Hawaii visit.

Great service from pick-up, check-in, safety info, ride, and drop off. Beautiful day to fly and the views were spectacular. Although we had a mic to talk, the experience and commentary left me speechless.

Our family just took a tour today, We loved the it!!! The views were spectacular. The helicopter was spacious and well maintained. Our pilot Adam was very good and knowledgeable about the island. We are considering taking another Blue Hawaiian tour in the future. Mahalo!

Great Helicopter ride, professional pilot and staff. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Adam was a great pilot and gave a great overview of the island. They organised pickup and return from our hotel also.

Great tour! From the pickup at the airport to the briefing at their office before going to the helicopter to the tour itself. Everything was great and professionally handled. Be aware you will be paying a comfort fee if you are over 250 lbs (most helicopter companies do this) but they heavily discounted it. Our pilot was Lauren. Great guy. Very funny. Don't forget to take some nausea medicine if you tend to feel woozy when flying. They sell some Dramamine at their office. All in all, great experience and you get to see some fabulous sights.

My husband and I recently returned from our 5 year anniversary trip to Hawaii. We visited Maui (5/12 – 5/16) and Kauai (5/16 – 5/20) and decided well in advance that we would do the helicopter tour in Kauai. All of the guidebooks pointed us to this decision (Kauai Revealed is a great resource!) and when we were at the Blue Hawaiian office checking in, they reconfirmed our decision. Kauai is best explored by helicopter! My husband and I get seasick and motion sick, so we took some non-drowsy Dramamine an hour before our flight took off. That worked perfectly for us. The check in at the office was seamless. Once you check in and get weighed (probably the scariest part!) the computer randomly generates seating assignments. You are also briefed on safety and watch a safety video. Shortly after the video, we were shuttled over to the airport for take off! We were lucky enough to be placed in the front row of our helicopter! I am not familiar with helicopters and don’t have much to compare this one to, but it was gorgeous! All of the flights on Kauai use the Eco-Star with tiered seating so everyone gets a great window view. The noise cancelling headphones were great and the theme music was a nice touch. We flew with pilot Jimmy and he was fantastic. He had a very “National Geographic” narrator type of voice and was very knowledgeable about the island. He kept prompting us to ask questions but to be honest I was in such a stupor from the gorgeousness of the island that I was speechless! The first valley we went into was so breathtaking I almost cried. It was really beautiful. We were really lucky with the weather that day. We took a 10 am flight and it was cloudy and rainy when we were in the middle parts of the island. We were able to make it all the way in, but they said they had to cancel several flights the prior afternoon. It’s really all dependent on the weather; the company rather reschedule your trip then subject you to dangerous travel conditions. In summary, we really enjoyed our helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters with pilot Jimmy and would absolutely recommend this as the NUMBER ONE activity to do on Kauai!

I decided to splurge and take a Helicopter tour while in Kauai. I kept going back and forth about spending the money (around $200) for the tour. I am so GLAD I did. This was without a doubt the highlight of my trip. Our pilot (Andy) was great and the views for the helicopter was undescribable. It was absolutely gorgeous!!!!! The Na Pali Coast was my favorite. DO IT and spend the money. Ask for a AAA discount if you have AAA. Blue Hawaiian was professional and I would highly recommend the company!!!
