Having done their trip on Kauai, we decided to do the Craters and Waterfalls trip from Hilo. As ever, the trips are excellently organised, and our pilot, Wesley, not only gave a n interesting commentary, but also showed his knowledge by answering questions during the flight. Although hampered somewhat by bad weather, we still had views of he lava tube pouring into the sea that would be difficult to obtain in any other way. Well worth the rrip

My first helicopter adventure ! Yes, I was skeptical of the cost, quality and safety. However, after this tour with Blue Hawaiian, I can honestly say this is the best way to see the Big Island and it's vast scenery in a short time. The weather can affect your details, but today was clear except at the summit due to VOG ( volcanic smog ). Seeing the lava tube flowing into the ocean, the caldera with molten lava, steam vents, valley, waterfalls, with narration and a smooth flight is the way to go. We had Toshi as our pilot, an experienced, calm and humorous pilot who made the trip enjoyable.

Thank you Jack for the safe flight. As we were sitting in the passenger (ocean) side, we especially thank you for turning the helicopter around occasionally so we could see the coastal areas.

Tour was wonderful, pilot Jeremy was great. Loved the experience. The only problem is the checkout desk to pick up a video of our flight. Only one person to check everyone out. We were late getting to our next tour.

AWESOME!!!!!....we came to Hawaii...to the Big Island....to see the volcano....mission accomplished...crossed off our bucket list....merci!!!
