Mahalo to the staff for a wonderful tour of Kauai! This was our first heli ride EVER so we didn't know what to expect...(very cool, not scary at all!) After the briefing and instructions on loading/unloading, we were off! The views from the air were spectacular...and I had to remind myself to sit back and enjoy it instead of snapping a million pics! Scotty G. showed and discussed all of the highlights and we even took his suggestion on hiking Waimei Canyon - Another AWESOME adventure! We purchased the video so we can remember this fantastic hour of our vacation forever!! This was our best trip and this heli ride was the icing on the cake! :)

We had to write a review regarding our helicopter tour through Blue Hawaiian.  We have flown with them in the past on Maui and the Big Island.  This year we did the hour tour on Kauai and it was certainly the highlight of our trip as well as one of the best experiences of our lives.   We took our entire family with two boys 10 & 11,  and our 10 month old baby on this tour!  He go t his own set of headphones for noise protection. Our pilot was Brodi, a native of Kauai, who made the tour fantastic.  He's a seasoned pilot of 16 years and local with a fantastic flair for history which made our experience comfortable, with incredible views and a feeling to last a lifetime.   We purchased the video and it was just as we remembered with down to the memorable commentary.   There is music is playing while you sail around the Napali coast, skim amazing mountain tops and cliff and see the island in a way that is not naturally possible. The views from the Eco star are incredible.  The comfort of the ride is excellent.  The entire show is sublime. We felt very safe and the Helicopter was in great clean shape.   We had our first tour cancelled due to weather and we were so grateful that the company is very conservative with their flying and are not afraid to cancel trips when the conditions aren't safe or ideal.  This translated to a more comfortable flying experience and better views.   You can take a go pro or camera with your, but i'd recommend leaving it in your car and just enjoying the experience.  Buy the video which is incredible quality and better than anything your shaky camera can pick up. If you're thinking about getting the tour, JUST DO IT.  Don't second guess and shop around.  This company is professional and we had an amazing time.    We did almost everything else this island offered as far as hikes, tours, tour zips, whales, boat tours, laughs and adventure and nothing compared to the helicopter tour.  You simply can not appreciate or even see Kauai at all from the road or a path in the way you see it from the sky.  Aside from the Napoli coast, waimea canyon and the Jurassic falls and multiple other sites, we were fortunate enough to view Wai ale ale the "crater" with its  many weeping waterfalls.   This literally brought tears to our eyes.   I haven't had that experience in a long long time.  Just book the tour.  You will no regret the best money spent on the island.   Thanks for a memory of a lifetime. The pilot was especially good as compared to other tours. The islands beauty is obvious but the pilot made the trip perfect.

Truly Amazing experience.Brody gave us a very full and interesting commentary It was an awe inspiring experience ,one that I will never forget. The views of the mountains ,waterfalls,canyons and the coast really should be experienced by everyone visiting Kauai,there is no other way to se the sights we have seen today.

Really enjoyed the flight over our first volcano and the lava flows into the ocean etc. Really spectacular to see molten lava flowing like water from the cliff face into the ocean, something we will be talking about to our friends and family for a long time into the future. Thanks for wonderful experience.

Good view of the lava flow into the sea and the crater. Plus the tracking over the "Pride of America" before landing.
