What an amazing adventure! By far the most up-to-date helicopter of any operation on the island. There is no reason NOT to do this tour. Save your hard earned money for this one!

This was my favorite thing we did on Kauai. It was the perfect way to see a lot of the island that we wouldn't other wise get to see. Our pilot Brian was awesome. He made the experience even better with his knowledge of the island and interactions with his passengers. He was very considerate of me who was seated on the left side of the helicopter with most of the action on the right. He made sure to swing around so I could have an equal chance to see everything. The entire staff was great from start to finish. I can't wait to do it again!

Best helicopter tour I've done!!! Our guide Brodie was fantastic and personable made sure we were informed along the way. The views are stunning, I was lucky enough to be in the front on the window side so had some amazing views!!!! Only downside toward the end the helicopter was incredibly hot!

Tips: Leave your hotel/resort early. Despite a short distance, traffic in Lihue can slow you down. Bring only your wallet and cell phone (and/or small camera), they do have free lockers to lock up your belongings, but they won't let you take anything else in the helicopter, so don't bother bringing it. Review: Most of Kauai is not accessible by any mode of transportation but helicopter. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters gives you the opportunity to see those places in style. They operate the Eurocopter EC130 Eco-Star helicopters with turbine engines. They looked like the nicest fleet on the line at Kauai Airport's helicopter row. On top of great equipment, the people could not have been nicer. Our pilot and tour guide was Beth. Despite looking very young, she was quite an accomplished rotorcraft pilot with all of her years flying in the oil business and air tour business. Her flying was excellent, it was a windy day, but the ride was so smooth. It was my family's first time on a helicopter. I was the only one of our 5 that had ever been on a helicopter. My daughter was very nervous about it, but Beth made her feel comfortable and within about 90 seconds she had a smile on her face. Beth flew the EC130 so well and kept the ride unbelievably smooth the entire time. I was very impressed. Beth was also very knowledgeable about the island. I learned a great deal from her. Her style made it a fun learning experience for the whole family.
