It was my first time flying with helicopter it was amazing, the view was beautiful the pilot was nice and explain us everything about the place. I saw lava for the first time it's really nice to see liquid lava. I recommend to everybody to do tour above the volcano.

We were blown away. Perfect day and Brodi was an awesome guide. Highly recommend! Ride was about 45 mins long. TIP: Request the front seats when you book.

Awesome flight with Julie. She is a wonderful pilot and provided a range of information. The entire Blue Hawaiian helicopter was very helpful and helped to make our trip a close to perfect as possible. Cheers Ann and Bill Hutto

Great tour!!! The customer service was BETTER!!!! Only recommendation would to have he staff fly one day a week in order to accommodate questions from the tourists!!I will recommend your company to ALL from friends and relatives!!!

From the check-in crew to the loading crew and pilot, the personnel at Blue Hawaiian were the best. This was a great way to see the whole island in just under one hour and to go places where you just can't get to otherwise.

Greg O was a great pilot for our one hour Eco-Star helicopter tour from Waikoloa. He immediately calmed the nerves of our worried passengers as we began the tour on a slightly windy but very clear day. He provided just the right amount of commentary and eagerly responded to any questions. He clearly loves his job and the Big Island. In addition to the Valleys, waterfalls and Coast, Greg O took us on a whale watch as we spotted several whales from directly above. What a sight! Great equipment run by a very professional staff and operation.

We did the Big Island Spectacular with Eric as our pilot and it was such a great way to see the whole Island. Eric was a fantastic pilot and guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining and went out of his way to make sure all sides got a great view of the hottest spots. This particular tour would be my recommendation because you get to see so much, the Island from all sides and the volcano park with active volcano in the middle of the island as well. We did the waterfall landing and if I could do it again I would probably skip it, only because you see such amazing things from the helicopter and the stop is so brief that I'm not sure it was worth the extra price. Overall, I'm glad we picked this activity as our one thing to do while on the big Island!

We enjoyed our experience with Blue Hawaiian 5 years ago on Kauai, so we looked for them when we visited the Big Island. We were staying on the Kona coast but drove over to Hilo since my wife was unsure about doing the 2-hour tour from the Kona side. In hindsight, she would have been fine with it, but we still really enjoyed the 50 minute tour from Hilo. Great views and narration from pilot about the volcanos, lava flows, and great views of the molten lava pouring into the ocean and also within a crater. Smooth ride even on an overcast day made it a really enjoyable tour. Regardless of what island(s) we return to, we will definitely look to Blue Hawaiian first!
