My wife and I checked off this bucket list item yesterday with this very professional crew. Great views of the island of Oahu with touching ending flying the path into and over Pearl Harbor with our excellent pilot and guide, Lorin, who served our nation for over 20 yrs as a Blackhawk pilot. Great videos to memorialize your journey.

We wanted to see the lava shooting into the ocean and this was a great way to do just that. The lava in the crater and dumping into the ocean was really awesome from the helicopter vantage point. We were impressed with the care that Blue Hawaiian showed in our safety and satisfaction. Everyone from the phone order taker to the desk greeter to the safety briefer and, of course, our pilot were friendly and very professional. Our pilot was informative clearly knew his pilot job well. It was easy to find the Blue Hawaiian desk at the Hilo airport with ample parking in the general airport lot. We had flown Blue Hawaiian on Kauai and will use them again when we want to take another helicopter tour. A really memorable experience.

Wonderful trip--skilled & informative pilot (Shea). Please remind passengers to wear dark clothing (I have too many photos of the pink-shirted guy's arm). Non family members traveling together should reserve separately to ensure each receives a personal USB. They have a professional staff. Their services are worth the price. They picked us up from our hotel on time. The pilot gave us a very fun and informative tour. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As a family, it's one of our favorite memories (even though my husband and daughter had motion sickness). If you visit Hawaii, don't miss out on the opportunity to ride with them.

We knew when we were visiting the Big Island that we'd have to do a Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour. We chose the "Big Island Spectacular" because it offered the best viewing helicopter and the longest tour of the island. We had an amazing pilot who had the task of not only flying the helicopter, but he was conducting an 'aerial tour' while simultaneously recording everything on video and trying to get all the video angles just 'right'. He did an excellent job and we toured the whole island, from the lava fields, to the volcano crater, to the Puʻu ʻŌʻō vent to the amazing 'lava pipe' going into the ocean. We eventually went along the Hamakua Coast, refueled at Hilo and did the north part of the island on our way back. What a thrill!

We took the Grand Tour of the island last week. Marco, our pilot, is a pro. He was a great guide of the island. He took us to see the volcano and the incredible hose of fire on the south side of the island. Because of rains on the eastern coast, we weren't able to see the sites there. However, we refueled and went to the the northwest coast. We saw whales and flew into a valley ringed with waterfalls. The trip isn't cheap, there were 6 of us, however, it was the highlight of our trip!

The best part is you get to see things you cannot see any other way but from the air. The volcanic activity is the best part and was why I took the tour. The air time is short of 2 hours, however.

The view was amazing! The pilot was really nice and friendly, and she appeared to be a casual expert on everything I inquired about. Despite the chance for discomfort in the flight, I felt rarely any bumps!
