The tour was good...but what you see can really fluctuate based on the lava flow. We did a helicopter years ago in Kauai which was fabulous. If you are going to both islands and choosing to do only one-choose Kauai.

We took the "Blue Skies Of Oahu" tour. We were unable to see the North Shore up-close because President Obama was there, but that gave us more time for the rest of the island (it's only about 45 minutes in the air). Our pilot was ex-Army armed with some great jokes and island knowledge. She was also very accommodating (turning around so people on both sides of the aircraft could see the rainbow, for example). Bottom line...we really enjoyed the tour.

Greg is an awesome pilot, along with all of the staff. We appreciated the courtesy call reminder as well as the cold towel at the end of the tour! Thanks again.

It was the most amazing helicopter ride! Exciting and special moments, memory forever. A must do when in Hawaii!! The pilot Julie was great!

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is THE way to tour Kauai! Our pilot, Geoff, inspired confidence with his low-key demeanor and absolute precise control of the aircraft. He is a native of the island and provided excellent insights and thorough, thoughtful responses to all the questions we raised. He brought us beautifully into a number of tight canyons and craters for an extraordinary experience. Our tour was well worth the price and Geoff is a top notch pilot and human!!

I would say that at the beginning it seems really scary but then it is so cool you don't want to look away.

Well worth it. Loved every second. Greg,our pilot,was outstanding. Loved seeing mother nature at work.

Bryan was fantastic and the entire tour was amazing. It was clear he cared a great deal about what he was doing and we just really enjoyed him. Everyone we met was great. The scenery was the more beautiful than we could have imagined.
