So much of the Big Island can't be seen from the ground, so by all means, bite the bullet and book a helicopter tour. The guys at Blue Hawaiian are extremely professional, accommodating and just plain fun. We splurged and took the Island Spectacular, and it was worth every cent. The pilot was gregarious and filled with island lore, and the 2 hour tour allowed us to see the entire island. The copters are comfortable, and they play music that really does add to the experience. It was truly the high point of our Big Island visit.

The Big Island Spectacular on the ecostar helicopter was amazing. Splurging on adding the waterfall landing was also completely worth it. Our pilot Christy was amazing as well. She had an extreme enthusiasm for flying, Hawaii, and us as guests!

We booked the Big Island Spectacular to get things started off right on our honeymoon. We saw the active volcano (Kilauea) on the south side of the island and then waterfalls, cliffs, and the ocean on the north side. We also booked the exclusive waterfall landing, which was a plus. Overall it was a great introduction to the Big Island and was big on wow factor. Our guide was very personable as well.

Enjoyed the ride; the pilot was funny and awesome. Really made our fourth date special. Thanks for the service
