My wife and I were in the Hawaiian Islands for 10 days to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and our daughter joined us for the day. We had limited time in Kauai and decided to combine air excursion with a land excursion (Kipu Adventures) to fully experience island. This helicopter tour is arguably one of the highlights of our time here. You get a 50-60 minute flight which allows you to see the other 70% of the island you cannot see by car or foot Views are breath-taking! Our tour guide/pilot (Greg) was superb! Check in is 45 minutes prior to take-off. You get weighed in and seat assignment is apparently computer generated and based on weight. You also watch a safety video required by FAA. No hats, bags. Bring your camera’s! Overall impression: 5+. In summary, this was a fantastic (memorable) journey for us and one I highly recommend for any couple celebrating a special event or family. — Experience: 5+. — Tour Guide: 5+. Greg was awesome! — Cost/value: 5. $739.68 ($247/person) plus $41 for video of entire flight/experience. The experience is 5 star. We did the Island Spectacular with the waterfall stop. A once in a lifetime trip at a cost of about $1,500. The trip was worth every penny, stunning views of the volcanoes and lava, beautiful shoreline, cliffs and waterfalls. When you start the tour, they tell you that the helicopter has 4 exterior cameras and 1 interior. I knew that those cameras would get better shots than I could get inside the helicopter, so I didn't worry about it. That was a mistake. When we got back and I went to buy the DVD, nothing was recorded. So I'll have to count on my memory of the incredible trip. I'm just so sad about that and wish I'd taken more pictures. Do yourself a favor and take pictures and videos while you're up there. The company didn't really do anything about the "malfunction." Just gave us a DVD documentary of all the Hawaiian islands.

Wesley was a wonderful pilot and tour guide. Would recommend this experience to anyone!
