The views were incredible!!! Our pilot was awesome and filled with lots of cool facts about the island. Highly recommend taking a helicopter tour with them, you will not be disappointed.

Money well spent. I'm was an ambivalent flyer but the safety briefing followed by their attention to detail diminished any fear I had. Ride was smooth and the views were great! Pilot was amazing! Will do it again! Best Buy on the island!

With a family of 8 I could only do 1 helicopter tour. My husband and I had done them at 3 islands previously but after asking on TripAdvisor and my own opinion, I decided to do it at Kauai. Also, it was our last day so wanted to end vacation with something special. We had four members of our family in 2 helicopters with Brian and Beth. They were both great! It was definitely the highlight of the trip. On the previous day in Kauai we encountered some rain but the rain from the past days just made our flight better with more waterfalls. It was also clear enough that we got to go into some areas that they don't always get to do. My family loves movies so they were excited to see all the places where films had been made. We bought one of the videos and my husband and I almost cried when watching it. Their eyes were huge when the helicopter lifted off! So fun to watch and so many memories made. Thank you Brian and Beth for making this a day we will never forget.

Blue Hawaiian not only provided an informative pilot but the flight was spectacular and the only way to see a live volcano. Worth the extra holiday dollars for the experience and a really good video available of the trip at the end. Thankyou!

We booked our chopper tour through Kapohokine Adventures and it was a great experience. Our army vet helicopter pilot, Brant, was infinitely experienced. There wasn't a breathe of turbulence on the flight. He was able to get us fantastic views of the lava lakes and flows. They can never guarantee that the winds will be favorable to see red lava, but we got it, and lots of it. This is a way to see inaccessible beauty. And Brant had great taste in music. We took off to the flying bicycle suite from E.T., heard the adventurous sounds of Jurassic Park and (original) Superman, and it was interspersed with some lovely local Hawaiian songs, Enya and Pure Moods. Brant really captured the spirit of the topography with his music choices. A helicopter tour of Big Island is a must! We'd probably do this again when we visit in the future.
