Our pilot, Scottie, was very friendly and fun. The ride was surprisingly smooth. We flew over the town that was wiped out by lava, saw how lava changed the landscape, the point where lava meets the sea, waterfalls, and the volcano that we came for. The lava in the crater even looked like a happy face on the day we flew.
Captain Barrett and the crew at Blue Mountain gave us a great tour of Kauai. He was very personable and was a wealth of information. The staff were very easy to work with and answered any questions we had.
Blue Hawaiian Comes Thru Again! After another company cancelled our flight one hour before the scheduled time due to helicopter malfunctions, Blue Hawaiian was able to get us a tour of Kauai and save our day. What a disappointment it would have been. The Eco-Star appears to be the superior helicopter, with better visibility. 5 years ago, while visiting Maui on my son's Make-A-Wish trip, Blue Hawaiian arranged for a special flight for our family. I can't say enough good things about these people. They are definitely #1 on our minds, with the best pilots, staff and helicopters.
Pilot Grant was amazing. He gave us some history of the Island and the volcanic activity. We would ride again!
Pilot was friendly. Views were great. We were hoping to see more lava but that's not anyone's fault. Overall a great experience.

Flight was fun, we enjoyed the tour. I am frustrated with our flight being delayed and then our recorded video of the ride "glitched" so we could not buy it. Our pilot, Darren, was nice and we had a good time other than the 2 inconveniences.

I want on a tour of the entire Island with blue Hawaiian. The pilot was very knowledgeable about the island and was able to answer all questions that we had. It was very comfortable ride. This was my first helicopter ride. I would definitely recommend blue Hawaiian helicopter tours 2NE1 that is going 2NE1 of the islands for a tour.
