Awesome experience! Our first ride on the beginning of our stay only circled the island due to weather, but Loke in customer relations was awesome in setting up another flight for us on our last day on Maui. It beat our expectations and we saw more of Maui in that hour plus than I knew existed. Tim was extremely knowledgeable pilot and new so much history about the island. I would highly recommend this to anyone! My dad was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and was shot down during his tour (but thankfully survived otherwise I wouldn't be here). I had never been in a helicopter before and it was awesome to experience flying in one in honor of his service! I would love for him to come to Maui and try this. Thanks for all your service Blue Hawaiian and excellent customer service to make this a great experience!

Its a great flight of a lifetime. Its a must try experience also. But i made one mistake. I didnt give my pilot a tip. In confuse that is it right to give a tip to pilot or not( Different culture). But after reading some information on internet l just realized that its OK to give him a tip.

We flew with pilot Jeremy in the Ecostar helicopter and really enjoyed our flight. Circling over the ocean entry point and then following the lava flow up to Pu'u O'o crater where we again circled was very exciting. What you see is of course dependent on the volcano but we enjoyed Jeremy's commentary and he pointed out the most recent lava flows. Seeing the waterfalls before swinging around to come back to land in Hilo was a beautiful contrast to the starkness of the volcanic areas. Really enjoyed this experience.

We flew Blue Hawaiian Helicopters from Hilo. The drive to Hilo from Kona was about 3 hours, mainly because we stopped off at some sights. The tour was fabulous!! We saw lava from the active volcano rumbling about. The ocean views were spectacular. Flying above lava that went into the ocean forming steam was very beautiful. Overall, we had a great experience!

Very professional group. Everyone was kind and helpful. I appreciate the attention to safety. Our pilot was a wonderful man whose focus was on his passengers safety and making sure we were all pleased. We have done this many times around the world and find Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to be the best

So very glad we invested our vacation $ in this tour. We chose the Eco star due to the separate roomy seating and took the West Maui and Molokai tour. Our pilot Glenda was very good and kept us engaged during the flight. She got us very close to several of the waterfalls. Very enjoyable time.

Ethan was a fabulous pilot and tour guide. One can tell that he is proud and knowledgeable of the island. We enjoyed seeing lava flow as well as the double waterfall. I felt completely safe throughout the flight. Our trip gave us a perspective of Hawaii that cannot be surpassed. Thank you Blue Hawaiian.

Wonderful flight. Julie was great. We were able to see three lava flows. Makes us want to come back to see the whales.
