Fantastic tour! Brody did a great job making sure that we saw the best of Kaua'i

My wife was nervous eat first but our pilot did a great job. It was amazing. They took us inside the volcano opening and really gave us a new insight of the island. We did several tours on the island and this was one of the best as well as Napali catamaran. Those two are the best.

My wife and I took the 2-hour Big Island Spectacular tour. The pilot, Eli, was awesome. The Eco Star helicopter was much more comfortable than I expected. We both wanted window seats, but all they could guarantee at booking was that one of us would have a window. The weight is distributed around the helicopter, so there's probably no guarantee that a couple will even sit together, though my wife and I did, and she got the window. The pilot and two passengers sit in the front row, and four people sit in the back row. Each helicopter has three exterior and one interior camera, and the pilot switches between them, and a video of the entire tour is available after the tour for purchase. The views of the island were incredible... particularly the volcano views and the east coast of the island. However, there were some problems that affected our enjoyment of the trip. First, we got a late start by about 15 minutes. After showing up 45 minutes before the departure time for the check in, weigh in, and safety briefing, as requested, we spent too much time waiting. Then, after the volcano segment of the tour, we stopped in Hilo for a "cool down and refuel". We disembarked from our helicopter and were led into a small building with a seating area to wait. We weren't told what we were waiting for, or how long it would take. After a half-hour wait, we boarded a different helicopter. The last part of the tour was very enjoyable, though we didn't go as far north as I expected. After returning to base, we had our last disappointment. Because of the change of aircraft, there was no video from the trip after we landed in Hilo! I had stopped taking so many pictures and videos on the last part of the trip, with the most beautiful scenery, expecting to buy the video. But apparently the USB stick containing the video was blank. The representative apologized, and offered the video at half price, but I declined. Without that last segment, it wasn't worth it. So, in summary, our experience was mixed.

The 3 of us really enjoyed the ride! The scenery was outstanding, water colour amazing!! Brodie provided informative information about the island. He was friendly and enjoyable to ride with. What a wonderful experience! Our tour book recommended a helicopter tour of the island. We chose Blue Hawaiian and we are so delighted with the trip. Our pilot Mark did an excellent job. He is so knowledgeable and made the experience one to remember. We will tell anyone who comes here to take this trip of a lifetime!

The tour was absolutely amazing, smooth flight, great pilot (Marty) and all the views to go with it. Great value considering the expansive views that you are able to get of the entire island from the copter, great commentary to go with it

Flight with Lorne was excellent. Hard to take photos when sitting in the back on the inside. shuttle was 45 minutes late picking us up from the ship
