Speechless! Ecostar@7am. We have driven, walked and seen all of the island but this event added so much more to the sights of the 'Big Island', From flowing lava to flying up the valleys and seeing a 2000' waterfall. Simply spectacular and worth the money for a once in a lifetime opportunity. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is a must do!

Amazing views of volcano activity, great customer service and our pilot Ethan was very knowledgeable. Best way to see the volcano and worth every penny.

This was a great way to see the Volcano on the southern part of the island. Scott was a fantastic pilot that showed us some active lava flow, collapsed lava tubes, old houses that were taken over by the lava flow, some waterfalls, and more. They recommended that we wear dark shirts and we're glad we did as another passenger was wearing a white shirt and there was quite a bit of glare because of it. We picked the eco-star helicopter option and it was very comfortable. The rain was on and off and when it was raining, it appeared to really impact the visibility of those sitting up front, but in the back it wasn't bad. That being said, when it was clear skies, the front really looked like the place to be so I'd request that if you can (they do balance weight so it may not be an option). They also honor AAA discounts and have web discounts so give them a call and see what the best deal is.

Our pilot Ethan was great. He knew a lot about the island in addition to information about the volcanoes. The whole staff was great as well.

My wife and I were awed by this exceptional tour. Our pilot was very good and gave us a beautiful tour of the coastline and the famous waterfalls and canyons of Kauai. This is a MUST for anyone stopping at tyhis beautiful island.

We loved our pilot Tim. He did a great job telling us about what we were seeing. I liked looking at the live lava. It was cool. It was fun going on a helicopter for the first time. Nicholas Age 7.

my husband was very excited about the helicopter ride, but was a little nervous....i was pleasantly surprised! we had great service and our pilot, Jeremy, was friendly and very knowledgeable. we were able to see lava flowing into the ocean and waterfalls....both in locations that would be impossible to view otherwise. we were very pleased with the comfortable ride (we were in the Eco-Star) and blown away by the views. on thing that was not a big deal but that we were surprised by is that there are assigned seats based on weight. i had planned to snag a middle seat, but was assigned a window.....not a problem at all, since every seat has a fantastic view, but it was something we weren't aware of before we got there. anyway, worth every penny, i recommend this company without hesitation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Big Island Spectacular Tour! Scott, our pilot, was very informative, funny and skilled at his job! He was amazing and made our experience very memorable! We opted to take the 2 hr tour over the volcano, coast, valleys and waterfalls because we didn't have time to go to the Volcano Park. I was a bit disappointed about the amount of lava we saw but it was still worth it! Seeing the steam along the coast where the volcano was also active was amazing too! Just don't expect it to be like the video on their website. The Kilauea volcano has been active for 30 years so the video was obviously taken on the best day as the lava flow varies from day to day. If you are concerned about the money, just take the one hour tour as that part was our favourite. The valleys and waterfalls are breathtaking and it gives you a chance to see part of the island you wouldn't otherwise see and can only be seen by air! It was a dream come true!

My first time to be in a helicopter, the staff really make you feel safe and educate you on safety. It was not far from our lodging, and the time went by so fast, I did not want to return, we saw waterfalls over three thousand feet tall, many waterfalls in lush green cliffs, then you go to the volcanoes and see the molten ash bubbling, then to the dry part of the island, and you literally see the difference due to the heights of the mountains or volcano's that hinder the moisture from reaching the east side of the Island. We saw whales in the Pacific. It was a most educational activity that is a must when visiting the Big Island. It also allows you to notice the difference in colored lava and its formation when it hardens.

We decided to take the 50 minute tour to celebrate our nephew's birthday. The staff were very nice and efficient and made us feel very safe. Our pilot was knowledgable and interesting. We really enjoyed the views of the volcano and our guests had a great time,too. We would definitely use Blue Hawaiian again.

We had.a fabulous pilot,, Scott, who gave special attention to all of the passengers and my husband and I were lucky enough to have seats in front next to him. This was a rare opportunity to fly in a helicopter over such interesting terrain. This was well worth the price.

Our helicopter tour was the absolute highlight of our trip to the Big Island. The experience was truly amazing and provided a perfect way to see the diverse landscape of the island and appreciate its scale and magnificence. Active volcanos, thousand foot waterfalls, whales breaching, villages overrun by lava, waves crashing against the shore--this trip delivered the goods. Blue Hawaiian were very professional and took safety as well as comfort very seriously. The chopper was modern and comfortable and our pilot Greg provided us with a completely smooth ride. Greg was fun to spend time with and provided us with a lot of great insights without lecturing or being overbearing. Invest the money and go on this trip and ask for Greg as your pilot.

...can't write enough words to describe this experience. The beauty of the island, seen from a bird's eye view, is spectacular. No wonder the angels in heaven applauded Jehovah God's creation! Thank you so much for giving us this wonderful experience we will talk about and remember forever! And a special thanks to Scott - he was informative and entertaining - the perfect pilot - breathtaking maneuvers, yet smooth enough to keep everyone happy. Ahola!
