Ethan was knowledgeable of the science and the history of the island.

Rowena was great at customer service. Spent lots of time talking about the area and places to visit while we are here. Carl was our pilot. Very engaged with the customers and answered all of our questions.

This was an incredible experience. Brian was the best pilot. He provided so much information on the island and also specific information on hiking trails for my daughter.

Ich hatte den einstündigen Rundflug von Hilo aus gebucht. Es war ein absolutes Erlebnis und die Highlights waren der Flug über die Stelle, wo die Lava in den Ozean fließt und natürlich der über dem Pu-o-o, dem aktiven Vulkan. Man konnte von oben die Lava aus der Erde austreten sehen. Sehr positiv habe ich auch Wesley, den Piloten, in Erinnerung. Er hat seine Begeisterung für das Fliegen und die Landschaft auf uns alle übertragen und hat mit der Musikauswahl auch für zusätzliche Dramatik gesorgt. Der Grund, dass ich nur 4 Sterne gebe, ist der, dass man wirklich Glück mit den Sitzen haben muss. Man wird beim Einchecken gewogen und dann werden die Sitze zugeteilt. Das kann dann dazu führen, dass man auf der Viererbank hinten in der Mitte sitzt und so nicht den 1A-Blick hat und für Fotos immer über den Nebenmann greifen muss. Berücksichtigend, dass jeder den gleichen Preis bezahlt, finde ich das schade. Aber es lohnt sich trotzdem allemal!

the tour is fantastic and exciting. We the lava, although it is not very huge, it is a real lava. :)

This tour was amazing! Blue Hawaiian Helicopter never disappoints! If your trying to decide whether you want to do the helicopter tour ....... just do it!

Kristie out pilot was awesome! What a fun and enjoyable ride. We were able to see parts of the island not accessible by land. I would highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters if you want to see the island in its true form.

We did a Big Island spectacular with our pilot Toshi. He was a fantastic guide and got us up close and personal with some lava and waterfalls. He said it was only his second day flying the tour, but it turned out that he had a lot more experience than that. Everything was top notch, from the smooth flying to the photo ops to the quiet headphones and the video of our whole tour. They even rescheduled us when there was too much rain to make for good viewing. The waterfalls were the highlight. Untouched and truly incredible. One of those things you can't believe still exists on this planet. Seeing flowing lava was awesome too.
