Riding in a helicopter was on my bucket list. I had recently been skydiving so wanted to add a helicopter ride to my completed list. I decided to do so while on Kauai. It wasn't inexpensive but I thought flying along the coast in the helicopter would be wonderful. However, most of the tour consisted of hovering at different places which lended itself to motion sickness. Even while along the coast we moved it a very slow pace and the pilot would turn and hover often. I will say the pilot was fantastic and the staff was also very nice. I had just wish there would be more excitement to the trip.
Sean was awesome . . . one member of our party was not really happy about doing the tour. She does not like to fly; he was great with her. wonderful tour/ride. Thank you Sean!
Carl (or Karl) was an encyclopedia for the big island. If you get him, keep asking questions and you will learn some really interesting facts and history of the island. He's a human Wikipedia!
Greg was our pilot and he did an amazing job! He did a great job at telling us what we were looking at and the history and/ or story behind it. It was a breathtaking experience that I would do again with this company. Thank you Greg and Blue Hawaiian helicopter for this experience, I will definitely be a returning customer!

AMAZING!!! We had never been in Hawaii and never in a helicopter. Everyone at Blue Hawaiian were amazing from the shuttle driver Jeff to the reception gals and especially our pilot Brendan. The flight was incredible, definitely worth every bit of the price! Views you will never get from the ground! I highly recommend!
We did the rim of fire tour on the Big Island. Brandt, our pilot, did a fantastic job! Friendly, informative, professional, and we felt completely safe. We saw lava flowing into the ocean, lava bubbling in the caldera, stunning waterfalls. Amazing!!
