Third time to the Big Island and we've loved each visit. This time we wanted to see everything from canyons to lava flow and were not disappointed. Excellent pilot in Chase, great views of water and lava, good dialogue about what we were seeing, wonderful weather.....just all in all a great way to see it all!!!!
It took some convincing by family and friends, but I am so glad my husband and I toured Kauai with Blue Hawaiian. Cheap entertainment, it is not. But it is so worth the cost to see the beautiful island from above, particularly the Na' Pali Coast. Amazing. The day of our tour the crater in the island was cloudless, so our pilot took us inside it. The entire tour felt like a dream. Our pilot, Brian, was calming and entertaining. He helped make the tour all the more enjoyable. The staff at the heliport was friendly as well. The helicopter itself was comfortable, the seats and the cooling system. There was plenty of glass/windows to be able to see well. I would recommend taking this tour and using this particular company.
Not so spectacular as the volcano half was cancelled due to bad weather and dangerous conditions, we were still able to do the valleys and the coast which were breathtaking. We were 45 mins in the air and the pilot was very knowledgeable and chatty. Well worth it even without the volcano. What a way to see the Big Island.
Jason did a wonderful job of showing us the sites. We found lava in the keyhole opening and saw lava flowing in the sea! Waterfalls are amazing from the air.
