We would like to take this opportunity to give a big SHOUT OUT to our fabulous pilot, JASON DAVIS and the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter staff! We were greet with warm smiles and the warm ALOHA spirit!!!What an awesome job they did. And especially to our pilot JASON, who is sooo knowledgeable about the Big Island. We were very impressed!!!! Mahalo for a wonderful experience!!
Our pilot Pat was very knowledgeable and would circle over Lava pots that were bubbling. He also took us over some nice water falls. Pat have good knowledge of eruptions and where cities were wiped out. Flew us over a Macadamia plantation. Talked about how the trees did not burn down due to the amount of rain fall that occurs on the island. We also drove over a road that was recently rebuilt after a Lava Flow destroyed it, noting that a second Lava flow destroyed another section of the road. Wonderful trip and would highly recommend it.
Awesome tour, got to see things we would never see in any other tour venue. Well worth the cost.
