After a disastrous experience with another company, we stumbled on to Blue Hawaiian. From the moment we walked in the door, it was an awesome experience. The girls at the front desk were polite and helpful, and Tim, our pilot, was amazing. Highly recommend!

We took the Big Island helicopter tour from Hilo last week and I loved it!!!This from someone who does NOT like flying, my boyfriend Tony had to talk me into it. Our pilot Brian made it so enjoyable and fun I LOVED every minute of it!!! Brian was very professional, he was funny and extremely knowledgeable the entire tour. I had a total change of heart about helicoptersseeing the world from that perspective, being up in the clouds just floating, it was overwhelming, humbling even... We went right over active volcanoes and could see the lava, it was incredible!!! Even as it started to rain (totally normal on the Big island!), Brian inquired as to everyone's comfort (were we okay, could we hear okay, did we have questions) and did so throughout the flight, which was very reassuring and comforting for me. He mentioned he was from Tennessee and told us how he ended up piloting in Hawaii. He's so incredibly enthusiastic about being a pilot, you can hear in his voice how much he loves what he's doing. Overall, this helping me overcome a fear and enjoying the ride so much was truly incredible for me-- THANKS AGAIN, BRIAN- YOU ROCK!!! Sharyn & Tony Fish

Had an awesome time with my wife on our first helicopter tour ever. Chase our pilot was informative and entertaining as he ensured we got great views of the waterfalls and Molokai. I would definitely recommend to all who want to enjoy spectacular views and a very smooth ride from up above!

Island of Oahu- While I felt horrible (motion sick) on this helicopter tour my husband loved it! We were very impressed with the entire staff and especially our pilot Christopher. He was funny and even kept it humorous when he thought I needed to use the Aloha (barf) bag lol. My husband can't stop talking about it, we just got home and he already put in the DVD. I really can't say enough about this company and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The picture of us that was so beautifully displayed when we got off the helicopter was a welcome surprise. Thank you again for an awesome experience.

Great experience! Absolutely made our stay on the island. Our pilot Ian was informative, and made the trip more fun. Who doesn't love a pilot that provides an awesome soundtrack as well? Saw everything we came here to see! Would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Ian!!!

I was extremely disappointed with the way this once in a lifetime Big Island experience started. Our kids were separated from us and we were assigned to a different helicopter. When I raised concerns, I was first given the answer that it must be because I bought a certain type of ticket and then was told that my family of 5 would not allow the helicopter to take off and that is why the computer had assigned us to a different helicopter. There is absolutely no way that was true. All along we were being made to feel as if it was our fault. It wasn't until I raised my concerns to Noel that my concerns were properly addressed. She apologized for the experience, (which no one else had done before). She understood that she as a parent would not want to be separated from her kids. After all, this is a family vacation and we wanted to experience this together. Unfortunately, by the time it all got corrected, a couple from our tour group was evidently disturbed that we had delayed their experience. This tension unfortunately continued for the rest of the day. Another member of your group that helped turn a bad situation good was Scott. He was fantastic!!! If I had to rate my experience simply on Noel and Scott, I would have given you 5 stars. Without them, I would have given you 1. At the end of our tour, I wanted to buy the video. Unfortunately they were having problems with the computer system and could not verify that the video was ok. I unfortunately had to rush out as I didn't want to further delay my land tour group. I still would like to get a copy of the video. Please advise on how to proceed.

Today's flight proved even more worthwhile that sightseeing via air is #1. I had a massive smile ear to ear from take off to landing . 5 star helicopter and special thanks to our pilot Christi for making our flight so memorable . Thanks Blue Hawaiian helicopters , I 10/10 recommend

My parents went on a helicopter tour with Shay on the 4th of December 2015 on Kuaui. They had the most wonderful of times. Unfortunately my dad's camcorder didn't get any footage and i knew he was devastated. I got in touch with the team at Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and they were amazing. They were able to get the footage from my parents actual tour put it on a USB drive and send it to me in the UK for the usual cost as it would be on the day to purchase the footage. It took 8 weeks to arrive but soooo worth the wait. Thank you all for the amazing memories they have. It was so special to be able to share the experience of their helicopter with them.
