it was amazing the best helicopter ride

Wesley was an awesome pilot. We had a great time.

The tour was absolutely amazing! Our pilot, Patrick, was very welcoming and had a lot of knowledge to share with us. He made jokes, talked to us, and flew the plane very smoothly. I was scared of helicopters, but I overcame my fear due to the flawless helicopter ride that I was on. The views were spectacular and breath-taking. To describe this experience in one word, I would have to say blissful. Thank you very much!

We originally booked out helicopter tour over the volcano from Hilo. On the day of our flight, we made it all the way inside the bird and the flight was cancelled at the last minute. We were bummed but decided to rebook from Waikoloa since that is where we were staying anyway. Boy, am I glad that our Hilo flight was cancelled! This is a well run hub and we were checked in for our flight quickly. Since we had already done the weight checks, we were off the safety briefing and then to our flight. Our pilot, Eli, was very knowledgeable and a great pilot. He made us feel safe and gave us a wonderful experience. He asked us all what we were most interested in seeing and I replied that I wanted to see lava. Luck was on our side as we were able to fly over a fresh breakout and we got to see lava flowing on the ground! This was the coolest thing that I have ever done in my life! Eli took us to see many sights including tons of waterfalls over the Hamakua coast! Blue Hawaiian is the best company flying! They are first class and we couldn't have been happier with our flight and our experience! Trust Blue Hawaiian and they will give you the very best experience! We also bought the flight video so we could all remember the sights and sounds of our flight!

Sobrevoar um vulcāo ativo foi uma experiência e tanto. Nosso piloto, Scott, foi sensacional. Deu diversas voltas sobre a cratera, de forma a que todos nós pudéssemos ver bem o rio de lava, explicou em detalhes o funcionamento do vulcāo, a criação de novos pedaços de terra, o risco a que se submete a população da área e, por fim, terminou o passeio com uma visão maravilhosa de um parque de belíssimas cachoeiras. Muito bom.

We chose the full island tour on the ecostar and sat upfront beside our pilot. The upgrades made the experience even more worth it. The staff was friendly and our pilot was very informative as we were touring the landscape. A worthwhile experience!

Jay was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions with great detail and with a nice touch of humor. For suggestions, I would say to include more historical information along with the tour. But overall, absolutely amazing and enjoyable tour. Thank you so much!

What an outstanding experience!!! Brandon is such an amazing pilot!! Such a smooth flight and his energy talking about the beauty was perfect!! We loved it all! Oahu is georgous. Mahalo for such a wonderful experience Blue Hawaiian!

This is our second Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour and it was excellent! Mark was our pilot and he was very thorough.

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my birthday and the end of 2017!! Blue Hawaiian staff were friendly and Derek, our pilot was funny and fun. Mahalo!!

What a terrific experience. Beth was amazing in every way. She made us feel welcome and safe and was a very informative about the history and traditions of the island.
