We had the front row seats next to the pilot on an Ecostar flying over the lava fields on the Hilo Circle of Fire tour. This was our first time in a helicopter but we felt perfectly safe in case any of you reading this are hesitating about that aspect of it. The weather was perfect and the pilot gave everyone a good view of the bubbling lava. Stopped by some waterfalls on the way back to Hilo - apparently this was the only way to see these waterfalls as they were on private land. About a 45 minute trip and worth the money.

Fabulous trip! Amazing views of the island you could only see from a helicopter. Our pilot, Brian, was outstanding! What a special way to see this amazing island.

This was a stunning unique flight-experience - the beauty of the green and the ocean were so much more than I had expected. Exploring the untouched unspoiled landscapes by helicopter is the right way to do it!

We enjoyed our time with Brian so much ~ thank you for sharing the magic of Kauai with us in such a special way! Brian made it especially enjoyable, sharing personal stories about the island, history and culture of the island. He also made an effort to learn each of our names so that we could feel connected to the scenery and sights throughout the tour. Thank you SO much for giving us such a special keepsake from our time on the island.

Absolutely the best part of our trip to the islands. The flight was perfect in every respect, showing us parts of the island we would never have seen any other way. And our pilot Brian was exceptional, providing great information about all of the island. His knowledge of the island, and especially all of the movie trivia related to the sights we saw, made the adventure ideal. I would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Kauai.

Mahalo Pilot Greg and Blue Hawaiian. The tour was an incredible ending to our trip to Kauai and we couldn't have gotten better weather four our trip. Our 18 month old loved every minute of it, even though he fell asleep. We will ecommend this to everyone traveling to the island.

We live in East Hawaii and have taken Blue Hawaii Helicopters from Hilo twice in the last few years. Their safety record is impeccable. Passengers are well informed and well equipped for the flight. Pilots are great and interesting tour guides. On both flights we have seen the lava pool in the Pu’u o’o crater and some of the streams of lava in the surrounding area. Our last visit we also saw it entering the ocean. People who take the boats get and up close view if the lave is entering the ocean but those I know sho have take this route say the trip is VERY rough and many of the boats have be warned that they are going dangerously close to the lava. If a bench were to bread off, as they often do, it could be a deadly situation for those passengers. In my opinion, Blue Hawaii is the very best way to see lava “up close”. It is expensive and it is best to reserve you place in advance but if you come to Hawaii to see lava—this is THE BEST WAY to see it.

We took the Circle of Fire + Waterfalls tour on an ecostar heli with Patrick. The vistas were fantastic. Patrick did a great job of explaining what we were seeing and often circled back so we could get a better or second look (oh, and he managed to fly the helicopter too!). My wife got the outer seat and I had one of the two middle seats. Needless to say she got the better photos but still had an amazing trip. I remember when it would take a week's pay to afford this trip but the experience is totally worth it.

We took the Circle of Fire and waterfall tour. We were on a cruise and I booked this directly with Blue Hawaii and saved almost $150. I'm terrified to fly and the pilot took time to explain everything and make me feel comfortable. My 60 year old husband was like a little kid. The volcano and lava flows were incredible. I recommend taking the newer quieter helicopters, we had views from every angle. Blue Hawaiian was extremely well organized and safety oriented and all the staff are all knowledgeable and capable. Our pilot was excellent. Highly recommended and worth the price.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Maui 19 years ago and wanted to take a helicopter tour so badly but couldn't afford it at the time. Well 19 years and one month later she won this trip to Maui and we were finally able to our helicopter tour. It was a beautiful ride over the mountains and 2 plus thousand cliffs and don't let me forget the waterfalls. We loved our tour the helicopter was amazing and our pilot she was perfect. If you find yourself lucky enough to be in Maui please consider taking a helicopter tour. And we loved Blue Hawaii helicopter.

Girls trip to Maui and my sister decided we needed to go on a helicopter tour....I immediately caught a bad case of anxiety but decided to push through the fear and "Carpe Diem"! I'm so glad I did. This was one of the most amazing and beautiful experiences I have ever had! We did the Maui Spectacular with pilot Mike S.-he was extremely knowledgeable on all the sights, funny and super attentive to all on board. Thank you to the ground crew (very helpful and friendly) and our great pilot! It's worth every penny and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

Wow! One of the highlights of my trip to paradise! Highly recommend Blue Hawaiian for their fleet of helicopters and amazing pilots. The experience was truly once in a lifetime. Thank you!

We had an awesome flight with Jason! He was a great pilot with interesting commentary during the flight. We saw hot lava flowing, cool waterfalls and beautiful views of Hawaii from the air. Highly recommended, professionally executed tours.
