It was a really great experience. Blue Hawaiian has excellent customer service and I recommend going on the Eco-Star because of the bigger windows. The pilot makes viewing available to both sides of the helicopter but it was still a bit hard to see if you're seated in the middle. I was able to take photos on the right side only but was able to see throughout the whole helicopter. This was a great experience and I highly recommend using Blue Hawaiian, it's a great way to see lava as well.

Atemberaubender Flug über die Lava Felder und Vulkane von Big Island.Leider sah man zu dem Zeitpunkt keine Lava ins Meer fließen jedoch konnten wir die fließende Lava auf den Feldern sehen vom Ursprung des Pu'u Oo Kraters bis zum Meer.Auf dem Rückflug in Richtung Flughafen sind wir noch über die Wasserfälle geflogen...250$ pro Person sind sicherlich kein Schnäppchen, jedoch bekommt man dafür ein einzigartiges Erlebnis geboten und einen unvergesslichen Einblick in den aktiven Vulkanismus auf Big Island.

Great experience, Casey really tried to get us all a great vantage point and closest to the active flow as possible. Great information he shared as well about the isle and history of the volcanoes! Mahalo!

Well, all I can say to Blue Hawaiian is “shut up and take my money!”. What a phenomenal experience of the Big Island by air! Pay the extra money for the waterfall landing. Just do it. You will not regret the expense! Overall: Very professional setup and execution from check-in, to safety brief to ground crew handling, to the flight itself. Tom was our phenomenal pilot and tour guide. Truly enjoyed his expert handling of our Eco Star and knowledge of where the fresh lava was visible in the various calderas on the Hilo side of the island. What a delightful flight for our family. The landing at the base of the 2,600 foot waterfall was the highlight. Tom expertly maneuvered the helicopter onto the private landing area and we all were able to get out for picture taking and some exploring. Holy crow, it was beautiful...We will be back!

生まれて初めてヘリコプターに乗りました。座席は前3人後ろ5人で、パイロットは日本人でしたので、日本語を交えて説明してくれて凄く楽しかったです。約2時間のフライトで、ハワイ島の雄大な景色とヘリコプターという乗り物を満喫できました。

We have done this trip twice it’s worth the money will not be disappointed. Try to get the front seat if you can. Or a window. Smooth ride like floating on a cloud.

After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and seeing the videos on their website, we booked Blue Hawaiian for a helicopter tour of Kauai. Kauai is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, with its stunning coastline, majestic waterfalls, including the ‘Jurassic’ waterfall and breathtaking Waimea Canyon. Our tour was professionally run from the safety demonstration, to the state of their helicopters which seemed to be relatively new, to the experienced pilots. The helicopter we took had 7 passengers with good viewing from all seats, but the front two seats with the pilot were the best. Our pilot ‘Shae’ was friendly, informative cool and calm.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour of the island. What a spectacular way to see the island and learn of its History. Many Thanks The Bellchambers Family
