Pilot was great, very beautiful sights

What an incredible experience! Our pilot was wonderful and we got to see active flowing lava! He circled around many times to make sure we all got lots of picture opportunities. The whole trip was well worth the price.

Blue Hawaiian has new helicopters with comfortable seats and large windows. Coupled with an excellent pilot and guide, this provided a great way to see volcanic activity that was not accessible on the ground. We flew over an active crater and tracked hot lava moving down the slopes.

The tour could have been much better if the pilot provided engaging conversation. Rick was very pleasant but boring. Half of the narration we already heard and saw in the mandatory movie while waiting for the helicopter to be ready. Some more history, jokes and funny comments would have been really appreciated. Otherwise Rick is a great pilot. We felt safe and the glass of pineapple bubbly was a new experience. Made us sleepy though. And we snoozed on the way back.

Our pilot Jay was very friendly, full of local info, and fun ~ thanks! Even with he handled the ballistic missile threat with grace and aplomb. Mahalo!

Amazing. It's 100% worth doing while on a trip to Kauai. Our pilot Barret was a 10! He was so informative with a great sense of humor. He made our flight fun, and added info at just the right times to allow us to take it all in. It was totally breathtaking to see parts of this island that aren't accessible by any other means. This perspective gives an entirely different meaning to the beauty here. Our family would hands down do this again on this island, and we can't wait to try it out on other islands in the future. Thank you a million to our pilot Barret, for giving us an excellent tour of his beautiful home island.

Neten foglaltunk..a parkoló 5 dodo 2 órára ami kell is mert korábban kell érkezni a regisztráció,mérlegelés es oktatás miatt..a parkoló automatanal lehet kártyával is fizetni..mi az eco túrán voltunk..ez 6 fő..2 elől 4 hátul..a testsúlyok alapján elosztva..Hugo volt a pilótánk aki nagyon profi csak úgy mint az egész csapat..a felhős ido miatt nem tudtunk a kráter fölé menni de így egy nagy kört tettünk..kimentünk az óceánra és bálnát is néztünk felülről..(mi pont előtte voltunk kint hajóval de ez így más) Hugo figyelt arra,h mindenki tudjon fotózni..ha kérdés van arra is válaszol..megéri a pénz a túra!!

Took my three kids on the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour in both Maui and the Big Island. Both tours were great. The Big Island was better only because of the created and volcano views. Wes was our pilot and he was great. He memorized everyones names and kept everyone engaged with questions and answers about the different life forms and ecological info about the island.
