Spectacular views!

Friends told us this was the best helicopter tour (location wise) they’ve ever done. It was pretty amazing. The Hawaiian guidebook recommends this as one of the top two helicopter companies in Kauai. They can fit 7 visitors (excluding pilot) in the chopper. However, everything is weight dependent. Up to 400 lbs (I think that’s the right #) per couple, or there is an extra charge. Seating is mainly assigned by weight of people to balance out the chopper. The seats are very comfortable. You can order a video of your tour for $40 afterwards. It covers ~5 camera angles and the audio (mainly the pilot). Our pilot, Brodie, was pretty good. He had a list of our names to gain our attention quickly and make it a bit more personal. Seemed like he got his script down to a science. I recommend signing up at least 5 days in advance using Expedia. You get a discount and they give you a dvd off helicopter footage from Hawaiian islands, as well as T-shirt. Also, you get 25% off things in their mini store. You can change flight date/time up to 24 hrs before flight time. Also, I recommend requesting the front two seats or the right side when you book your tour. You get such a great view. When sunset was between 6:30-7pm, we booked a 4:30-5:30pm tour. While the pilot indicated the weather allowed us to see some special places, it was a bit dark due to the shaded areas. Pretty cool to see the sunsets over Na Pali coast; however, I would recommend getting a tour a bit earlier when they aren’t as many shaded areas. Say maybe noon - 3pm for winter months?

Casey was outstanding. His professionalism and courtesy while giving a relaxed tour was impressive. The only reason for four stars was the weather but Casey did an incredible job maximizing what the weather would permit. The views of the Lava were amazing and Casey was a great pilot!

Greg, you are awesome! The flight was smooth and beautiful. Lots of information along with spectacular geology and waterfalls, beaches, volcanoes, etc. I was speechless and couldn't stop smiling. Beautiful. :D

Gardner was an amazing Pilot with very thoughtful and poetic narrations to accompany the tour. His insights taught us about things of the island that we were never aware of. Very happy to have been a part of his tour. Also cannot say enough about those working inside. They made us feel welcome from start to finish. Nick, at the front desk, is amazing and exceptional employee. He made this experience one to remember.
