We would have to say this was the highlight of our vacation! An amazing experience. We did the Maui Spectacular/ whole island tour. Yes they are pricey but we looked at it as a once in a lifetime experience. You would never do it again. I would also say don't waste your precious moments trying to take photos just buy the video at the end. The pilot has a few different angels of video going the whole trip; you could never get the same! Our pilot was Mike & he made the experience; he was very personable. He remembered all our names & made sure to turn that we all got the same view. Well worth every penny.

We booked a volcano tour with Blue Hawaiian that was all we could ask for.....and with a big surprise. Not only did we see lava fire outbreaks in many places, which was great...BUT.....it rained off and on, and when the sun broke through we saw rainbows, and not normal ones....we were above the rainbow and were treated to a full 360 rainbow BELOW us. Awesome!

Mike was our pilot for February 2, 2016 tour. He was very informative about the island and pointed out a lot of history for us. He certainly knew the area and has flown over all the islands and told us some history about them. Mike conversed with each of us and knew all our names during conversations so we didn't talk over anyone else! He made certain that all on the helicopter were able to view the waterfalls, vegetation and whales and other things. My husband said this was his favorite thing we did while on Maui and I agree with him! Thanks to Mike, our pilot!

Not only was it an unusually clear day that left both mountains in plain view but we had Pilot Rick! We have always chosen Blue Hawaiian when it was time to show our friends and family the island from the air and this time we all agreed it was the best! He knew the island better than most and piloted our flight very smoothly. Ask for a seat by the pilot as there is more room to stretch out and better visibility.

I have never been on a helicopter and would go back in a heartbeat. The staff was very considerate for those who were concerned and they followed very strict safety rules. The pilot (Gernod) was excellent and the views were out of this world. The highlight of our Maui trip!

This was our first helicopter tour and left us wanting to do it again. The company was very professional as was the pilot. They try hard to make it a great experience for you. We did the Molokai trip. Truly an excellent experience.

Chase was an amazing pilot and made our time in the helicopter wonderful. He gave many interesting facts as well as making sure we were comfortable.

One pilot, 3 groups of 2. I am 6'3 and 230 so I had the pleasure of riding in the back seat center. Not by the window, but still plenty to see. The flight was 45 min and went fast. But the experience was amazing. Second to when I went sky diving at age 21 in AZ. If you have the luck of drawing the front seats take them. They keep you and your partner together so don't worry about being seperated, but one group are up front with the pilot while the other two pairs are back seats big guys in the middle, ladies at the window. I chose this route because the volcano can be difficult with bad weather and enjoyed it. I went on the submarine tour and it was a 5/10, catamaran 7/10, and the helicopter 9.5/10. If money is tight save up for this experience and cut corners everywhere else.

Our family did the "Maui Spectacular" tour. What a beautiful way to see all of Maui. The west maui mountains were breathtaking but what truly made our trip was our pilot Katie. My wife was so nervous to fly but Katie made her feel comfortable and at ease. And our 5 year old son loved it! This trip is a MUST do if you go to Hawaii. Thank you Katie and thank you Blue Hawaiian! We can't wait to visit again.

We took the 65 minute "Complete Maui" helicopter tour on February 11th. Tim Perry was our pilot. We LOVED it! First of all, a big thank you to Tim. He was incredibly informative and really funny. He made us feel comfortable (e.g. highlighting why we were experiencing 'bumpiness') and, from what I can, appeared to know what he was doing 'behind the wheel.' The tour was beautiful, covering all the landscape Maui has to offer, including hovering over whales and getting some great pics. A big thanks to Tim for making our trip perfect!

Had an excellent time with Glenda touring Maui by helicopter. Glenda was great with our kids, very informative, and a an excellent pilot. None of us had ever been in a helicopter before, and it was an experience we'll never forget. We advise everyone to do this - you can't see Maui unless you've seen every nook from the sky.

Three of us took the 30 minute west Maui trip and it was amazing. The pilot was obviously super experienced, friendly and knowledgeable. The weather was quite breezy so there were a few moments of turbulence but nothing the pilot or equipment could not handle. The waterfall, ocean views were incredible on the Ecostar equipment. The ground crew were very friendly and patient. If you driving from hotels in the Kaanapali area give yourselves a good 60 minutes to get to the heliport.

We knew when we booked our holiday to Maui, that if we wanted to truly see it's beauty we'd need to see it by air. After reading the reviews for Blue Hawaiian, we decided to book with them. We booked the West Maui and Molokai tour on the A-star and what an amazing experience it was. Flying over the ocean you can see manta rays in the shallows, and then on land over mountains and waterfalls. Just bear in mind that it's quite cramped in the helicopter and this makes taking photos a bit difficult. Also remember to wear light clothing to minimise reflection in the glass.

My husband and I did the hour long helicopter ride over Maui. This was the first time either of us had rode in a helicopter. It was AMAZING! Our pilot Noah, made us feel at ease and provided us with so much information about the beautiful island. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Maui! Such a great way to see the island, especially given so much of it is not easily accessible. We made this reservation through Wendy at the Kaanapali Alii. Excellent recommendation!!

We are so happy we decided to spend the money with the safest company to see Maui. As a retired fighter pilot, I was impressed with their attention to safey and customer training and the condition of their equipment. No worries about their pilot experience either. We thoroughly enjoyed the flight. The girls in the reception area were also extremely helpful and accomodating. Thanks for a great flight experience.
