We had the best pilot ever. Her name was Katie and she was terrific. We saw the best views of the entire island. Katie was very knowledgable and shared with us some very interesting facts. We saw a volcano, waterfalls and beautiful views. I am super excited to have done this - it was definitely out of our comfort zone but it was the awesome. I would totally recommend to anyone that could to do this. I felt very safe and entertained the entire time and we have a video of the scenes as well as audio.

We booked to do the Hana Rainforest & Haleakala Volcano Helicopter Tour in an Eco-Star helicopter. On arrival we were advised that weather conditions over Haleakala meant this wasn't feasible. The staff handled this in a very professional manner and offered us the choice of rescheduling, a tour of West Maui and Molokai or a full refund. We went with the alternative tour and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The scenery was spectacular and the helicopter was comfortable and offered terrific viewability. Highly recommended.

Took the Hana / Haleakala tour and it was worth the cost. The weather broke for us so we got see everything on the tour. We booked on the Eco-Star and it was comfortable, lots of visibility as advertised and our pilot (Peter (from South Africa) was most informative while keeping the bird on a steady flight pattern. When booking ask for the front seats (there are 2), no guarantees as they distribute the passengers by weight, but nothing ventured nothing gained. Front seat visibility was excellent. Gratuity is up to each passenger, we didn't pay and I think most don't as it is a pricey ride. Most guests I think would drive to the heliport (or taxi) and I'm not sure if public transportation is available, I think not. There is a charge for parking (not expensive.)

After checking out all the helicopter companies ( at the heli airport) we chose Blue Hawaiian for their rates and customer service. where you sit in the helicopter is done by computer according to weight. You can choose from 2 types of helicopters. Ours held 6 guests plus the pilot. if you are going as a couple one will have a window seat. We were lucky enough to get the front seats. The vews are amazing. The ride soft.. You can buy your trip's video showing yourself of your actual trip if you choose to spend $50American. I would save up and do it again.

WOW!!!!! Breathtaking! Tim was great! Seeing Maui in a completely different view. This is a must do! You will not regret it.

Ask for Rick he shares his knowledge of the island and adds a bit of humor you learn history you see the beauty of the island that you cannot see by car nor boat Rick is steady and yet he show the t island he loves and offers knowledge it is a great way to see the island and well worth the investment

I attended a full island helicopter tour last week, and it was probably the best experience I have had on the island. Rick our pilot was phenomenal, not only from a flying standpoint, but his information and knowledge of the island was spectacular. I would highly recommend this company and please request Rick as your pilot!

Yet another maximum score for this company. They are very professional in their introductory safety talks, their equipment used and the way the personnel escort you to the help. They make sure you are comfortable, check your safety harness and do so in an unhurried manner. The pilot knows his stuff and gives you the best view on both sides of the craft. Highly recommended.

Took the 50 minute Maui/Molokai tour. Perfect weather conditions with light winds. A very smooth ride. Loved flying up into the valleys to see waterfalls and the steep volcanic cliffs on the coast. The music played during the flight added to the experience. Jeramy our pilot gave an informative description of what we were seeing but provided time for us to take in the awesome view below us. All staff were very friendly and professional. All steps of the flight were on schedule from the greeting on arrival, safety instruction, boarding, flight and post flight viewing of our flight video Purchased an actual video of our tour ( you are seen in the cabin). Pricey experience but an experience you won't forget!!

As the cherry on top for our trip my husband and daughter LOVED MORE THAN WORDS their experience. They had the 2 seats up front with the pilot (Tim - who was wonderful and INCREDIBLY knowledgeable) and couldn't get over the incredible views of everything they saw. Main crater was cloudy so they weren't able to see it (major bummer - but it happens) - however, Tim made up for it showing them EVERYTHING else. Was highlight of our entire trip for the two of them.

This was the highlight of our family vacation. We were blessed to have Gernot as our pilot. The ride was not just smooth and pleasant; but he was also thoughtful in making sure that everyone on the flight had a chance to look at the same things. From wale sighting to amazing cliffs and waterfalls this was completely amazing! We will be back❣

AWESOME, We loved our pilot Dean who was an EXcellent Pilot, explaining everything in great detail! We had the best time and enjoyed every minute, Dean made it fantastic!

We booked our Blue Hawaiian tour through the conceirge at the Kaanapali hotel we stayed at over Christmas. We knew pricing of the helicopter tours offered through Costco/air Maui and this about same. The conceirge suggested Blue Hawaiian so we went this route. What a fabulous adventure for my family! We chose the northern Maui/Molakai trip and we had Captain Tim as our pilot. We had the most wonderful trip, and saw and learned so much from our pilot. We scheduled our helicopter tour on our last day in Maui so we would be near the airport and it wound up saving the best for last.

We did the compete island tour and it was incredible. Great staff and pilot. Was a bit rainy and overcast but that didn't impact the views or the experience!

Our flight was choreographed to the perfect soundtrack selected by our pilot Rick including serene waterfall adventure and a quick cliff dive. The views were breathtaking and the 50-minute tour was the perfect amount of time.
