This is an absolute MUST-DO when visiting the Hawaiian Islands (Maui in our case). We did the "Maui Spectactular" tour and I must say it is well-worth the cost. The Staff was wonderfully pleasent, courteous and professional. They stressed safety and safety practices & proceedures. The Pilot/Tour guide was skilled, entertaining and knowledgable of the Island and it's history. The flight was smooth and the views were absolutly wonderful. Highly Recommended. some photos attached

i was feeling like there was better use of our money than a helicopter ride, but am so happy that I did it! we did western maui and molokai and saw waterfalls and cliffs that will stay in my mind forever. eric our pilot was great and would rotate the helicopter so no matter where your seat was-you had a fantastic view. he was also filled with great knowledge and had a really funny sense of humor. skip one nice dinner out and use the money for a ride instead.

Me and my husband were celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary in Maui and we thought what better way to see Maui than to do a helicopter tour. I chose Blue Hawaiian because of their Eco-Star helicopter that allows you to have better views no matter where you sit. We didn't get front seats like I requested...but they have to assign seats according to weight and regulations. Even still, we had wonderful views and even got an upgrade from our 30 minute West Maui flight to include a tour of Molokai island as well. Make sure you buy the DVD they provide of your tour at the end. We will be able to experience it every time we watch the video. Make sure you ask questions so you wont have to listen to strangers talking the whole time. My husband asked most of the questions and so I kind of feel sorry for the other couples that bought the dvd because it stars my husband! lol The DVD doesn't look as crisp as it looks on their tvs but I found a coupon for 50% off so I only spent $12.50 on it so I was okay with it. I got to take amazing pictures and got to see things that most people will never be able to see!!! Oh yeah, our pilot was also very friendly and was very knowledgeable about the island and its' history. He told us all kinds of stories and answered every last question my husband and I had. Very smooth ride also!

Blue Hawaiin is a must do to introduce you to the beauty of Maui. You can get a condensed view of what Maui can offer you. I would suggest Blue Hawaiin Air as the best stepping off point to look at Maui in its whole as you can see what is to be discovered on the island. The pilots, as we discovered, know the entire island and the hidden gems that are on the island. The pilots are professionals and show it in the way that they present themselves. The EcoStar helicopters are the way to go as the noise they produce are far less than the equivalent helicopters used by the other tour helicopters. A must do in my opinion.

We were looking forward to this tour as we had taken a helicopter tour of Maui in past years and that had proved to be the highlight of our numerous trips to Hawaii. This was something that we had looked forward to as we had visited all the other Islands over the years but this was our first trip to Kauai. The one warning I would have for anyone is that as they select your seating for the flight they select your seats by numbering each passenger 1-6. This may have something to do with weight but there did not seem to be a great difference in the weight of the six passengers on this flight. My wife and I were selected for seats 5 and 6. These seats are on the left side of the helicopter behind the pilot. The direction of the tour dictates that the left side of the helicopter is the ocean side. If you enjoy spending over 400 dollars to see 55 minutes of looking at the water you will love this tour. The couple on the right side of the copter did everything they could do to block any chance of taking pictures past them out the right side of the copter which added to the disapointment of this tour. The pilot didn't seem very enthused about any informative narration other than to identify a boat he recognized on the ocean. At least we were able to see that. In comparing this tour with our Maui tour with Sunshine Helicopter Company I would recommend Sunshine. They did a much better job of ensuring that all in the copter could get could view and had excellent narration.

My wife and I just went on the helicopter ride today. This is something that shouldn't be missed. We did the 2 hour tour and even though it is a little pricy, we felt it was well worth the money to see all you see. Between the volcano and the valleys with waterfalls it's an experience you won't forget.

i went on the West Maui/Molakai trip. This was the highlight of our trip and if you can afford 200 bucks go for it. I am sure you could spend that kind of money on one trip down the streets of Lahaina.

We took the helicopter ride over Hana and Haleakla (sp?) crater. The views were spectacular. We went over many, many waterfalls and saw a lot of celebrities homes. Our pilot (Chris) was really knowledgeable and gave great commentary about what we were passing over. This was our first helicopter ride. My teenage daughter had issues on the flight because she had a bad cold and clogged sinuses. Her ears kept popping and it was pretty painful for her when we would drop down to look at things. Just be forewarned not to go if you are having sinus issues because the pressure drops can really hurt your ears! My only complaint is that we left about 30-45 minutes later than we were scheduled for.

We flew out of Hilo, Big Island Hawaii. We drove from the other side of the island and I recommend you doing the same. It was a two hour drive, but unlike the Road to Hana, this was relaxed, green, luch, cool and there are many waterfalls. That alone would have made the trip worthwhile. Flying over an active volcano....we'll never have this opportunity again so we figured, why not! I was scared but it is so smooth you hardly know you are off the ground. It was worth every penny. I recommend driving to Volcanoes Nathioal Park from the Hilo airport. It's only 30 min. away and up there you can view the main volcano spewing sulphur and getting fairly close to it. In all, a fantastic trip.

We decided to do this trip even before we went to Maui. The event Maui Spectacular was awesome. This company looks solid, reliable and professional. The program of the flight is reasonable, stunning views! You would not be disappointed. I also recommend to buy their BluRay Visions of Hawaii. You will watch it again and again.

We took the West Maui/Molokai trip as I grew up in Lahaina and had hiked up Puu Kukui (the tallest point on West Maui) as well as most of the valleys. I wanted to see it all from the air. The scenes were spectacular and even more beautiful and stunning than I recalled. Molokai and it's waterfalls, lush valleys and different landscapes also added to the beauty. We flew back over Lahaina where I grew up and the new visual perpective was awesome! The 48 minute trip seemed to fly by faster than expected because of your constant views of great green valleys, waterfalls, the ocean, the shorelines, fog and clouds, etc. The very infomative pilot, very courteous staff added to the enjoyment. My wife and one son were leary of flying on a helicopter, but I convinced them of the spectacular end result. They were talking about how fantastic it was throughout the rest of the day! They both admitted some fear as we seemingly headed for a cliff on the way back as the pilot took us over it into the next valley, but were awed by it all! It's not exactly cheap, but well worth the cost!

This is a delightful way to get an overview of one of the Hawaiian islands. The booking and check in process was easy and the allocation of seats (there are only 3 'window' seats out of 6) was carried out professionally. I was a little apprehensive about being confined and strapped in to an hour long commentary - but the pilot was thoughtful, sensitive and left space for our own thoughts and reflections. Well done team!!

Blue Hawaiian Helicopters gave an excellent tour!!! They were great about safety, felt like we got our money worth, the only complaint was the weather. It was slightly overcast and rainy so our views of the Napali Coast were marginal. The good news, more waterfalls than ever. The tour guides were well informed and incredibly upbeat. None of us had been up in a helicopter. All of us loved it! Best tip is to wear dark colors if you plan to take photos as I understand there is less reflection in the windows.

The rides are breathtaking and well worth your money. I also want to applaud their customer service - we were supposed to be on the 5 p.m. ride and arrived thirty minutes earlier as advised. Yet we ended up waiting a whole hour because the other folks who made the reservation were late. While we were a bit upset about the long wait, Tim took great care of us - he made sure we sat on the front seat of the helicopter, and provided souvenirs and DVDs for us to take home. Not that these stuff compensated the long wait, but just his amicable and apologetic attitude made us feel valued. Great company!

Everything from the moment we walked it was perfect. Check in was a breeze and we were in the helicopter! Our pilot Eric was perfect and knew the island very well. We did the tour with a 15 minute landing stop and could not have been happier. The landing spot was perfect and made for a great spot to propose. I could not think of a better trip nor place to get engaged!!! Thanks again and we will definitely be back!
