Loved the pilot's voice - so soothing. We bought the DVD so we could take his voice home with us :) This was the best part of our trip to Maui. We took the helicopter tour on the last day of our vacation - what a way to end our amazing week in Paradise. It was spectacular! Absolutely worth every single penny!

Blue Hawaiian is the best helicopter company on Maui. We had a wonderful trip to Haleakala and Hana today with Blue Hawaiian. Glenda was an excellent pilot and gave us an amazing tour of the maui coastline. I would recommend this tour as well as the West Maui/ Molokai trip. Nothing is like being up above the island and seeing all of the wonderful sights. You will remember this trip for the rest of your life!

This was the most awesome adventure of our lives. The pilot "Mike" was very personal and knew each one of our names, and made us feel very welcomed and appreciated on the ride. He made us have the most beautiful memmories anyone could ever ask for. I'm even tearing up as I write this, it was that awesome. Thank you Mike from the bottom of my heart.

When planning our trip to Maui, my husband and I went back and worth with our budget. We debated whether or not we should pay the money required for this experience, afraid that we would not get our money's worth. But, we are both so glad that we splurged on this! We got a view of Maui that cannot be accessed any other way. Though we drove the road to Hana and we road bikes down Haleakala, neither can compare to this tour. Not only were the views breathtaking, but we also have over a hundred pictures of the stunning valley views and the tranquil waterfalls to enjoy for years to come. Our ride was smooth and relaxing, and Anna, our pilot, was very informed. She made sure to tell us about all of the hidden treasures of the West Maui Mountains and the island of Molokai. Anyone who visits Hawaii must take this tour! The registration team was very friendly and hospitable, and Anna took very good care of us in the air.

We took the West Maui tour on the Eco Star, and we're very happy that we did. The staff were very concerned for our safety and comfort. The view was stunning the entire time, and we saw several different kinds of terrain. The pilot was friendly and knowledgeable. He made light conversation and gave us some good information about what we were seeing. Music was played through our headphones and went perfectly with the scenery. I particularly liked that the theme from Jurassic Park was played as we came over a ridge to see a lush valley with waterfalls. It fit perfectly. I am prone to motion sickness, but did not have any problem during the flight (I did take a precautionary Dramamine, so that may have done it, but I still felt like the flight was smooth). We were provided with excellent instructions throughout our experience. It was a nice touch that a staff member took our picture with the helicopter in the background before we left.

We had to drive from Kona to Hilo on the big island to get to our flight. We didn't anticipate how long it was going to take. When we arrived at the Hilo airport we missed our flight. We were so bummed and thought we were going to miss this opportunity. Thankfully the staff was very nice and we were put on the next flight out that day. We felt very safe and the pilot was great. He explained everything in detail as we flew over and answered any questions we had. When we passed over the volcano he made sure to spend extra time and made us feel like he really wanted us to enjoy our experience. They also allowed for time for photos in front of the helicopters. Great experience!

We just flew Blue! Our Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour on the island of Kauai was by far the highlight of our two week excursion through the Hawaiin islands. My family and I had several wonderful experiences and activities throughout our vacation, but this one took the cake. The staff and crew of Blue Hawaiin were professional and courteous and did a fantastic job of briefing all of us on safety and expectations before our flight. This was our first experience on a helicopter and we definitely experienced the "WOW" factor. The views of the waterfalls, the canyon, and the shorelines were spectacular and took our breath away. Our pilot "Barrett" did an amazing job of making us feel safe and helping to make our flight very personal as he referred to each of us by name. Barrett was born and raised in Kauai which made our experience even more special as he shared wonderful details about the island. This is a MUST for anyone visiting the islands. They even recorded our whole flight experience on DVD and we purchased a copy for a very low price. Wonderful customer service = wonderful experience and repeat customers! Thank you so much Blue for the wonderful memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Count on us flying with you again when we return.

Maybe I expected too much as I have never been on a helicopter before but I didn't get that "wow" feeling. Our pilot was good, very dry sense of humour and Maui is a beatiful place but we just didn't get close enough to anything - no swooping in towards a majestic waterfall. Saw plenty of waterfalls but most were pretty small. I thought we would fly over Haleakala but we viewed from the ocean side - although the clouds were pretty impressive. I don't regret the trip, but I wouldn't go again

My husband & I booked the Eco Star on Maui (Crater to Hana) a 45 minute tour. Blue H. is a 6 Star business. Professional, courteous & most importantly - safety minded guaranteed. The moment you arrive they are so professional, they made me feel at ease. You view safety measures and your seated on the helicopter according to your arrival. Glenda, our pilot is very knowledgeable (25 yrs. piloting). The views are spectacular & u see Haleakela crater, waterfalls, rain forests, info about environment, road to Hana, cattle farms, pineapple, sugar cane field & so much more. Pricey, but worth it. Views are breathtaking and I highly recommend that you drive either sunrise or late morning up to the crater BEFORE you take a helicopter ride. Both experiences are different, yet both should be experience. They ask how you enjoyed the ride and for any information to improve the experience. We purchased a inexpensive video of the trip, which includes film of you in the cockpit. We will definitely, use this company again for other trips. Mahalo, Blue Hawaiian! Our family really enjoyed our helicopter ride with Blue Hawaiian. The views we saw were unbelievable and Anna our pilot shared some interesting facts about Maui that made the trip even more enjoyable. We felt very safe and comfortable throughout the trip and would highly recommend Blue Hawaiian!

This was my first trip to Maui and my honeymoon. Being my honeymoon I wanted to splurge ($600+ for a hour) on a big event and after reading reviews after reviews blue Hawaiian was the way to go. We selected the complete island tour on the eco helicopter. First I want to say the only way to see some of the sights was in a helicopter. The tour guide Emery was friendly and gave out some good information. The complete island tour goes in a counter clockwise direction. To give you an idea of the seating, if you are on the left side of the copter you are looking out towards the island and if you are on the right side you see the coast line. They place you on the helicopter based on your party size and weight for balance of the aircraft. The front seats are the best, because you can see everything all the time. The pilot did turn the helicopter to see some of the waterfalls but the majority of the time sitting in the back row on the right side you feel like you got the short side of the stick. The ability to take pics and really take in the experience is more challenging from those seats. I would recommend this experience to someone if they had a guarantee for the left side or front seat. The money is worth it but from the back right seats, I felt like I overpaid by a long fold. Please really put some thought in to this decision. Thanks

Well I was so scared so we stopped at the flatbread pizza place before so I could have a glass of wine! Thank goodness! Cute town. The staff at the heliport were all so very nice. Glenda was our pilot. She is great. She made me safe with her confidence! My husband loves his new hat! The only thing I have to say negative... They should not be charging for parking with such expensive prices. But who cares at this rate.

I had ridden over Maui in chopper back in the 90's with ex- wife. this time my 70 year old mother and 57 year old girlfriend were with me. Girlfriend is TERRIFIED of heights. I signed her up, told her it was paid for, no refunds, so If she didn't go - wasted money. ( had to lie a little). Boy were they both amazed that the flight was better than in an airplane. Our pilot was a white haired ex-vietnam pilot. He was awesome. Answered our detailed questions, since my mom and I had been to Maui several times before. As we flew over Haleakala crater, the pilot waited a little while so my girlfriend's ears could stabilize. My mom and girlfriend were really impressed with the beauty that they forgot they were in a helicopter. It was smooth and enjoyable. We landed in Hana, and jumped in a custom leather van. We ate a catered lunch at a public beach park pavilion. Had a tour of Hana, ( we didn't get out), went to a floral farm. The ladies were awestruck by the orchids, torch gingers, crabclaws, and the lipstick gingers. The tour driver, wayne, took us to pond. I swam across the cold spring water to the waterfall. He also took us to a black sand beach most tourists miss on their drive to Hana. I had driven to Hana before, and this was the way to do it. Someone else driving who knows where to go. Also, everyone in our party was able to see everything since no of us were driving. Wayne would also point out indigeniuos species of plants and invasive plants along the way. we booked it through pleasant hawaiian holidays. The only reason I gave it 4 and NOT a 5 is the vcr broke on the helicopter, and we were not able to purchase the video of our flight with our personal questions, and comments that we made during the flight.

These guys are the real deal we took the Maliki west Maui trip it was breathtaking. Tim was are pilot he did an outstanding job it was my wife and I first time on a helicopter and he made us feel very safe. He was very knollagable and professional. The girl that checked us in and the ground crew were great as well. Definitely purchase the DVD at the end it's well worth the $25 to have your flight forever and to be able to share it with friends and family.
