Scott did an excellent job of both piloting and being an informative tour guide..
Our pilot Chris was outstanding. He was engaging, funny, and informative. The video of the flight looked amazing. I was also using my camera and GoPro, and he gave me a heads up on all of the best spots to get perfect shots. It was my first time in a helicopter, and I was right up against the window/door, but I didn't feel scared for even a second. Beautiful aircraft and experience all the way around. I can't wait to take another helicopter tour in another location! We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Our trip was really good! Our pilot Adolf was very informative. Would love to come back to Blue Hawaiian on our next trip.
This was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our lives! Brodi was an outstanding pilot and extremely knowledgeable about the island. We would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Kauai. Truly incredible. Thank you Blue Hawaiian Helicopters!
One of the most amazing experiences we have had. Carl was a fantastic pilot and took us to see the beautiful lava flows, waterfalls and amazing island.
Awesome highly recommended!***
awesome
amazing
Wesley is an AWESOME pilot and a GREAT tour guide: volcanoes, craters, rainbows, whales, and waterfalls. What an experience! It was truly one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Thank you, Wesley, and Blue Hawaiian Helicopters!
Thank you for nothing short of an amazing experience. Brandon was the best! I have memories to last me a lifetime. I look forward to many more flights with you each time I visit. Having the courtesy shuttle made the experience that much more enjoyable.
I am delighted that we invested in this adventure. Our pilot Geoffrey was phenomenal and the whole experience was top notch. Totally worth every dime and I was actually sad we didn't take the helicopter ride when we visited Oahu as well. I loved it, my husband was super impressed too and I think we'd do it again if we ever come back to the island!
I was a bit nervous. I don’t get motion sickness but on a few of the curvy roads here in Kauai I have felt a little queasy. I took Dramamine 1 hr 15 minutes before. Did fine. We had 3 or 4 dips but no issues. Our pilot, Brian, was fun and informative. He also was careful. My husband who’s been on choppers (passenger , work related and also military for hurricane relief after Katrina) many times was impressed that our pilot was more cautious it seemed than others who were going in very low to sites. We did go in just about everywhere and saw places that are not always clear to go into. We hiked a bit & drove the Waimea canyon the day before and it was fantastic to see it from this vantage point. Expensive , yes, but well worth it. The computer selects where you sit based on weight and balance, I was in the back next to the window. My husband in the middle. My view was better than his, but his was still pretty good. More of the Island is unreachable, so why not really see the whole of it. Wear dark clothes , also consider long sleeves and long pants to avoid reflections in the sun on the window photo shots.
Brody is the man! Great tour, great guy!
Outstanding. We did it many years ago, and this was even better than before! It should be required of every visitor to this Island to see it from the air like this. We have driven many times to many places, sailed around, but you cannot appreciate the beauty and diversity of Kauai any other way!
Wow. I don't really think words do any of this justice, but I'm going to give this an honest attempt. Brodie was an absolute professional. He operated the helicopter with precision, skill, and was incredibly calm. He kept the entire passenger crew at ease and even through the more turbulent canyons he maintained a smooth flight. His knowledge of the island and descriptions of the locations were incredibly insightful. When I stepped off the helicopter I felt 200% more intelligent regarding Kauai's history and lore. He is top notch pilot. Whoever reads this, I'd strongly consider making him the "TOP PILOT" and increase his salary yesterday. Just an awesome guy. Also want to thank him for his service in the Marines. It's a comfort knowing our best and brightest are giving back to the community and being ambassadors for the public. Hooray Brodie. As for the flight itself, this was the experience of a lifetime. As an active duty member of the United States Navy, there are few modes of transportation I'm yet to utilize and even fewer modern marvels I've yet to witness. However, this flight absolutely blew my mind. I admittedly came to tears while entering a few of the most exquisite locations I've seen on earth. I was speechless at times and just overwhelmed with emotion at the beauty and serenity of this naturally unscathed island. The flight duration was perfect, and the flight path was exceptional. The coastline on the westward side of the island was absolutely stunning, and there was literally not one "low point" of the flight besides landing. Of course Brodie needs a rest, the chopper needs maintenance, and fuel does magically regenerate! I can't thank Blue Hawaiian flights enough for this incomparable experience. I will recommend this to everyone that ever travels here, and if I am lucky enough to return, you better believe I'm going up for Round 2! Thank you and best regards, Mark Kearsing P.S. > Hooray Brodie! (Brody if I'm misspelling)
