1 star or 5 star, i'm torn. The flight was amazing, professional staff, pilot was awesome, very clean and quiet facilities. BUT...I did not appreciate how they try to overcharge for flights. Looong story short, they tried to get me to spend an extra $880 dollars to guaranty my party of 4 would have the best seats, preventing anyone else from walking in and booking our same helicopter and taking our window seats. Our flight was going to take off in 30 minutes so the chances of someone walking in were extremely low. I chose not to pay $880 dollars and nobody walked in, we still got our good seats. Also, the $120 they charge for the in flight footage is garbage, $50 seems a little more reasonable. The video quality is not nearly good enough to charge that much, it is better to just shoot some videos on your phone! Also, the fee they charge for being over 240lbs (I was 280) makes sense but is excessive in how they handled it. You pay for a comfort seat, but it's the same seat as everyone else. It is a fat fee, not a comfort seat you are paying for.
Amazing trip, taking us up to ridges, into canyons, along coast lines, superb!
Highly recommended, the team was kind and thorough, the flight was smooth and the pilot Matt a great pilot/narrator (we even saw some whales!), and the facilities clean and cool!

Chris the pilot was absolutely AMAZING! Super fun and very informative about the history and culture of the islands. He made sure to do a few spins around the whales so we could all take some photos, and he circled back so we could check out the beautiful rainbows too! Professional and polite! I highly recommend Blue Hawaiian Helicopters!!

Absolutely an AMAZING experience from start to finish! Our pilot - Alex - was super friendly and an absolute PRO at his profession! You can tell he has a true passion for what he does. From booking/scheduling, confirmations and even accommodating small changes along the way were a breeze. First time flying and the pilot explained everything to make this experience more enjoyable and comfortable. Real recommended Blue Hawaiian Helicopters , you guys are best !!!
