What an amazing experience! From start to finish we were taken care of beautifully. The music, the sights, and the commentary from the pilot, Ryan, was superb!! Highly recommend!

Amazing experience, totally worth it!! Derek was an excellent pilot and host. And is clearly passionate about Hawaiian culture.

My wife and I booked this tour with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters--her first and my second (elsewhere) ride. The experience from start to finish was top notch. Safety first, of course, and the video prepped our group of 5 on what to expect. Once we took our initial pics and boarded, the pilot, Marshall, immediately helped everyone feel at ease as we smoothly took off. After a minute or two, everyone was completely comfortable and we had spectacular views throughout with Marshall providing great and useful background. The tour was 45 minutes and we covered a lot of ground, both figuratively and literally. We can't wait to send our kids up with Blue Hawaiian in the future, a testament to how we feel about this company and tour.

The Kohala coast tour was incredible, and our pilot, Shane, was superb. Both his handling of the helicopter and his stories about what we were seeing made this a very special experience. The history, geography, and cultural aspects of what we were seeing were fascinating, not to mention the whales we saw! We also bought the video of the flight so that we can relive the experience again and again. Unfortunately, for some reasons the photos that they took of us on the ground were lost, so the only suggestion I have is that you take some on your own camera just in case! But everyone we encountered at Blue Hawaiian was a delight to work with.

Amazing experience-beautiful and educational, must do!

Admittedly never having been in a helicopter before, I was 60/40 excited/nervous. But! As soon as Marshall took off the helicopter, I was immediately put to ease and the whole ride was amazing. I tend to get motion sick but did not feel that whatsoever during the ride (took no prophylactic meds). While this would be considered a splurge for many, it is an experience NOT TO BE MISSED! We saw sights we would've never seen in a million years by car, foot, or boat. Pilot Marshall was knowledgeable and his commentary spot-on. We even saw a couple of whales! The entire outfit is professional and we will definitely go back when we return to the island. p.s. we sat in the back row and the views were gorgeous. I'm sure the front seat is amazing but not a dealbreaker and less expensive to be in the back.

Out first time in a helicopter, and it was absolutely spectacular! Marshall, our pilot, was incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, making the experience both thrilling and informative. The views of Kauai were breathtaking—this is truly the best way to see the island. A top-notch adventure and an absolute must-do!
