We couldn't go the day we had originally booked the tour for due to bad weather conditions, but Noel at the front desk was super helpful with working with us on our availability and getting us re-booked for another day. For this very reason, I would recommend booking this as early into your trip as possible, so you have a few days as back up. The tour itself was amazing, and we got to view the active fissures, lava flows, and the breathtaking shoreline from the chopper. Our pilot - Wesley was very informative and made everyone feel at ease. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who would like to get up close and personal with Hawaii's volcanoes and their splendid waterfalls.

Wesley gave us an amazing experience with mind blowing views of the lava. We really loved the way he explained things and the way he presented the island with love and the most sentimental music. We really enjoyed everything, it was definitely worth it:) again, LOVED THE MUSIC:)

What a once in a lifetime experience. Patrick, our pilot, was cool calm and collected and showed us all the beautiful places that you can't possibly see on foot. What a beautiful tour.

Brody was an excellent pilot with great knowledge about the island. I was hesitant to fly on a helicopter before, but after today I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Amazing views and excellent service. I felt like I was in a movie! Definitely a must do if you are visiting Kauai.

Good Flight Good Views

Blue Hawaiian helicopters genuinely gave us the opportunity of a lifetime to see up close the active fissure and lava river on the Big Island. Our pilot Shane got us, safely, the best views we could ask for, smoothly flying above the spectacle below. The helicopter was comfortable, seating 6 people. Music playing in the headsets provided a perfect soundtrack, and opportunities to ask questions as we went were welcome. Highly recommended tour!

We had a fabulous experience with Blue Hawaiian helicopters and their staff at Hilo. The flight was incredible because we did the circle of fire tour and waterfalls. Book this early because it fills up fast.

I thoroughly enjoyed this journey through the island. I learned so much from Brody. His knowledge of the island and his respect for the island made the narration so memorable. I loved it!
